I felt similarly about Nettle & Bone. I didn't DISlike it, but it just didn't stick with me or really grab my interest all that much. Just super "meh" 🤷♀
So glad you got back into the Diviners and I hope you'll get to finish the series (or maybe even did by now). I was really surprised how much of the horrible stuff especially concerning race from the 1920s were in the series and integrated into the plot.
Catching up on my Watch Later playlist so I'm aware I'm so late to commenting on this lol! BUT, I had no idea What Moves the Dead has a sequel?!?! Loved that book so I gotta pick the next one up !
I haven't been rereading books, but I picked up the throne of glass books again to continue with the series, and I before now, the last book I read in the series was over 7 years ago I'm sure lol. So that's fun. I also read wither which was super popular when booktube was newish and dystopian books were all the rage, so that was also fun lol. Even though I hadn't read it before, it felt nostalgic. I remember trying to read the diviners a long time ago when it had first come out and I hated it haha so I never finished it, but I wonder if I would feel differently about it if I read it now
I saw that you were reading Wither! I used to LOVE that series, I reread it a few years ago and was flabbergasted about some of the stuff in there haha.
I love that you have such a particular style of book that you tend to reach for. I should have guessed that you’d love What Moves the Dead and What Feasts at Night (I haven’t read the 2nd one but I’ve been working my way through T Kingfisher’s entire canon)

The Diviners is such a good audiobook read! I really want to read My Roommate is a Vampire as it sounds just campy and fun!
I love the diviners 😩
It really makes me happy that you say “welcome in”. 😊

Yes I was so happy to read more of that world!

I'm so predictable at this point haha. Ooh what has been your favorite so far?
The Clockwork Boys series.
