One of the cutest and truest movies I’ve ever seen. It shows the problematic of trying to be to the satisfaction of your boyfriend/partner which doesn’t work for the long term.
Maggie Carpenter is a spirited and attractive young woman who has had a number of unsuccessful relationships. Maggie, nervous about being married, has left a trail of fiancés waiting for her at the altar on their wedding day. All of these were caught on tape, earning Maggie tabloid fame and the dubious nickname "The Runaway Bride."
1:52 "To Maggie's family and friends. May _your_ noses be rubbed in all of _your_ mistakes." There we go, Ike. Find the key part of the problem. She's become everyone's favorite punchline, and as such, there's a loss of key nuance.
amazing cast wonderful film the most awesome film sets of perfection love the life lessons and soundtrack.. A simply perfect flawless timeless masterpiece!
So, I’m watching the movie right now and it all just seems so rushed. It’s like boom they just fell in love and decided that they’re gonna get married. It’s like I can see the points of the developing relationship, but at the same time it doesn’t make sense. (I’m still watching the movie. This is the first time I’m watching.)
her: when i walked down the aile he had no idea who i really was. what person, but you do. rich: yes I do.” *me thinking of “pretty woman” - oh yes he does indeed
Funny how in Pretty Woman's trailer, they had Richard as first billing in the credits because Julia was not yet a star. But here they duly have her as first billing now as she can pull an audience in her own right.
Richard Gere was a very handsome man. Julia was gorgeous back in the 80's and 90's as well. When she was in mystic pizza she was in her prime! She was so beautiful.
It's like she changes herself to please these guys and just loses herself in the process which is probably why deep down she ran away from all of those weddings Dead Head" Gill Chavez, the first groom Maggie leaves at the altar. He is a musician and car mechanic. Donal Logue as Father Brian Norris, the second groom Maggie leaves at the altar. He later became a priest. Reg Rogers as George "Bug Guy" Swilling, the third groom Maggie leaves at the altar. Bob was attempt four and Ike would be five. I guess fourth then because she didn't make it to the actual wedding with Bob.
We're at this time when fiances and brides stay scaping from marriage cause they get in LOVE of not alive and The again of Angels we need fiances and brides as He at this movie who's really LOVE at this point
Runaway Bride Having already left three grooms at the altar, Maggie Carpenter (Julia Roberts) is branded "the runaway bride" by jaded city journalist Ike Graham (Richard Gere). But, after his facts are called into question, Ike races to Maggie's hometown to save his reputation and report on her upcoming fourth trip down the aisle -- during which he's convinced she'll run again. Though he's there on a muckraking mission, Ike can't help but fall for this breathtaking heartbreaker.
The use of the song "Every Breath You Take", as great as it is, was a mistake. IT IS NOT A LOVE SONG! At least not one where feelings are reciprocated.
@@fromthehaven94that song is a timeless classic! Wow! U folks are really miserable! People really know how to ruin a good thing and turn everything into something negative! Jesus!
Remember seeing the billboard/adverts as I travelled to uni every day that Fall/Autumn in UK and the name put me off from watching these respected actor/actress.
Ok so I’m in the middle of it on Netflix and I just got up to the rehearsal part… and I just CANT anymore…. This movie is so good, but should it be? Am I supposed to hate it, love it? And also whoever likes fried eggs idk, that sounds gross. (Well I don’t eat eggs) also do I love the reporter do I hate him? So MANY QUESTIONS THAT I KNOW HAVE NO ANSERS FOR
A co-production of Paramount and Disney, the latter exercised its involvement through the Touchstone brand. But compared to most Touchstone movies, this is pretty tame, so tame that Disney could have released this internationally under the Walt Disney Pictures brand, though Disney may have had reservations about doing so for a movie to which they did not have the US rights. Which is ironic, given the main Disney label collaborated twice with Paramount in the early 1980s - Popeye and Dragonslayer, before Touchstone even existed.
Or fiances as El Apocalipsis de San Juan where Valerio decides leave the chains with Demons for back at real humble life and to LOVE Irene who's ever was waiting him
Március 23 án szombaton adják le a TV2 ön 15 óra 25 perctől szinkronosan és magyar felirattal is Oltári nő címmel. Nagyon jó Amerikai vígjáték főszereplő Julia Roberts és Richard Gere.
Weird movie. How is it that Meloni's character is so chill with Gere's character always being around and why is he letting him be around her given his prerogative. If this movie has legit credibility, Gere and Meloni have tension and Gere doesn't get that much alone time with Roberts.
"She's running!"

Safleen Sandhu Was yes I love that feeling
Same here.

Calling it an old flick triggers me.
Honestly i think that old films are better then the new ones
Cause they are
Of course right!!!
I don’t watch movies newer than 2010
Wow what a hot take, look at this genius
So do i
This is just everyone from Pretty Woman in a different universe
Haha the producer even took the same leads and made them fall in love, how cool is that, it's called the 90's lol
My thoughts exactly. XD And I think I'd rather just watch Pretty Woman again, honestly.
Hector Elizondo was cast in every one of Garry Marshall's movies.

so she has had five guys fall in love w her and want to marry her...damn...cant imagine
@Weird Content Guarenteed Jesus, it's a movie, calm down
I can't even get one guy to look at me.
I can't even get one guy interested in me. I've never been on a date in my life. I'm 34 too and i'm not ugly. I don't understand what's wrong with me.
How are you doing now? I can try to help if you want
@@H81234 maybe it’s your personality
Some movies should never end and this is one of those.
You can tell whoever directed this also directed the Princess Diaries or something because holy cow that's half the cast
This America was so different! :)

Scared of PP.
Right 😂😂 granny was hilarious 😂 talking about she went to sleep with a pin on her wedding night 😂
I love the chemistry
Watch Pretty Women.. these two are also the star
God Richard aged 20 - 30 years in 10 years this was like switched sequel to Pretty Women.
My favourite Julia Roberts with Richard Gere

This reminded me of movie Runaway Bride with Julia Roberts and Richard Gere
Lmfaooo
I'm sure many people will be horrified by this, but I actually prefer this film to Pretty Woman. It's one of my favourite films ever.
Loulizable best friends wedding
I am horrified
I love both but Pretty Woman was something I'll never ever forget. Maybe because it was the first and the movie where I first liked Julia Roberts ❤️
I'm not, this was way more interesting than PW.
glad im not alone

I love this movie. Having it seen it dozens of time well… they tell you the whole movie in the trailer don’t they 😂

Right along with three of the main _actors_ from _Pretty Woman._
Richard Gere was a very handsome man. Julia was gorgeous back in the 80's and 90's as well. When she was in mystic pizza she was in her prime! She was so beautiful.
Literally everyone in this movie was in pretty women and princess diaries
Neither Julia Roberts nor Richard Gere star in The Princess Diaries
I see that movie 100 times

Why don't they make romcoms like this❤❤❤
my favorite movie
Great movie.😍
Maggie wasn't a "maneater." She just lacked confidence and kept almost settling for the wrong guy, until the right one came along.
The bottom-line is that's it's a runaway title but not a runaway film.
We're at this time when fiances and brides stay scaping from marriage cause they get in LOVE of not alive and The again of Angels we need fiances and brides as He at this movie who's really LOVE at this point

The trailer might be from Tarzan
We never realised before, but these kind of movies really glamorized stalking and harrasement.
And also cheating
The use of the song "Every Breath You Take", as great as it is, was a mistake. IT IS NOT A LOVE SONG! At least not one where feelings are reciprocated.
I've realized that people take everything way more serious than it actually is! It's a movie! Fiction! It is not that deep! 🙄
@@fromthehaven94that song is a timeless classic! Wow! U folks are really miserable! People really know how to ruin a good thing and turn everything into something negative! Jesus!
@@danielleschiazza6172 A timeless classic song that is a little on the nose about, at best, feelings that are unreciprocated.

It's to bad Laura San Giacamo wasn't in this movie. She played Julia Roberts best friend in Pretty Woman and was hilarious.
😊😊❤❤
Amazing and fabulous 🤩

Following up, this movie could also in the US be run on Paramount sister property Nickelodeon, like Disney a major brand of children's entertainment.
But this isn't a kid's movie. Don't let the PG rating fool you. Even if this was from 1999.
Or fiances as El Apocalipsis de San Juan where Valerio decides leave the chains with Demons for back at real humble life and to LOVE Irene who's ever was waiting him
Greatness !!!!! 🙇 🙀 👑 💋
