Good thing is India is making its own ships. But still look at this Frigate weight and other weapons it's still under armed. It should have at least 16 VLS for Brahmos or some other Anti Ship/Land Attack Missile.

I think they have plans for integrating more vls cells at some overhaul refit down the line. Missiles are likely some nirbhay variant, well if funds don't dry out first...😅
If this ship destroy 2 enemy warships using 4 brahmos missiles then it is enough works for an frigate . ( & it Carries 8 brahmos missiles)
Still no variable depth towed array sonar. All the ASW weapons are pointless if we can't detect the quieter Chinese and Pakistani subs. The hull mounted sonar can't be fully isolated from ship noise, and will never be as good.
The indian ships are already stealthy and cannot be be tracked by enemies 😂
we need good CIWS, that AK 630 is of soviet era. We should be able to make these by ouselves i hope L&T or DRDO make a new automatic CIWS.
We need an indigenous version of the " Rolling Air frame type Missile System" on our ships.
