They dont make movies like this anymore. Today, a movie has to have characters that fly and morph into something else to be a hit
Some think we are living a similar version of it, in real time right now, with the Biden Administration.
Personally, I doubt it. But politics is so twisted, it wouldn’t surprise me.
I hope this scene ends like the Mel Gibson and Homer Simpson remake of "Mr. Smith Goes to Washington".
One of my favorite movies. Along with groundhog day. 😋
Such a comedy, honest people at hill? A vice president actually honest? Real comedy.
Who amongst us could not vote for Dave 🙏
They never voted for him. He was a fake. The real guy was scum.
the fainting was so dramatic.
This was a nice movie. About the only thing was that the actor playing "Dave" seemed far, far too much of a nice guy to be a president.
What about Joe Biden? Pretty nice guy
@@jonalderson5571 lol your delusional
When was the last time you saw the term "public servant" in use? They call themselves elites now.
What a magic movie moment!
Remember when the population of the US was only 250m?
One of the best movie ive seen! 😀
This is one of my best movies
3:10 Boy, I wonder if the guy in the bottom right corner felt silly later for applauding as his “President” went down for the count.
Jesus its surreal watching this in 2020. You'd think this was fiction but I swear I could believe this could happen today
Great film, superb cast - especially Kevin Klein!
Its so great that Gandhi got to be vice president and later president.
Care about what's right than what's popular. If only right?
Such a great movie
Dave: Each one of these charges is absolutely true.
Bob: HA! Die, you pond scum!
Dave: But that's not the whole story.
Bob: No, wait-
Everyone rushes up to save him 😲
Kingsley expression always looking like a serial killer haha
This film was on tv the other day, in the midst of the primary results....Trump and Clinton care more about themselves than us...
1:51
In real life, we a President who commits crimes, lies, and never takes responsibility
You were 2 years premature in your comment.
@@stvdagger8074 No, he was right.
2:05 beautiful ambiguity and truth all the same...
Setting unrealistic expectations for politicians
Sadly, as we know it today, half of the country would stand with Bob Alexander.
i like the concept =))
He killed it 🙏👍🏽
This movie maybe considered a comedy, yet there are some political truths about this movie that should not go ignored... especially how they handle the budget and spend our money.
I think at the time that this movie was made Hollywood knew some stuff that the rest of the world would soon find out:
-the president having a thing with a White House intern (pre-Monica Lewinsky scandal)
-POTUS & FLOTUS sleeping in separate bedrooms (probably what was going on with the Clintons)
-the Vice President being a "geek" (Al Gore was one which is why he lost in 2000 to George W Bush)
Clinton wasn't the first president to fool around (and probably won't be the last either).
Quiero ver la película completa doblada en español pero no la encuentro. ¿Alguien pusiera ayudarme?
Creo que en Amazon Prime, ah, re referís a "verla"... en Google hay opciones
Wow, a president actually apologizing for illegal behavior.
Not just screaming ‘witch hunt’ and going after a judge’s family.
Welp, this comment didn’t age too well!
Why, why, why can't this be real...
if only.
When baby boomers were just mature (this was the peak, as hollow as this seems), not sinister when in power or childishly selfish with their youtube mountain man breakfast videos on youtube.
