Grail Watch 9: Moritz Grossmann x Kari Voutilainen Benu 37 'Silver Bullet' is housed in a 37 x 9.2 mm white gold case with a stunning sterling silver dial with both guilloché and Clous de Paris motif by Kari Voutilainen. It is paired with Moritz Grossmann’s signature flame-purpled hands, one of the thinnest in the world. The watch is powered by the masterfully finished manual winding caliber 102.1, a German silver masterpiece made with untreated sterling silver which will patina gracefully over time. It features a signature three-fifths Glashütte plate and hand-engraved balance cock and escape wheel cock, with a power reserve of 48 hours and operating at 21,600 beats per hour.

So the modern M. Grosmann has no ties to the original except in name only ? Right ? She just bought the name.
She also produces in the same town, hiring from the same population, potentially descendants of the same people that worked at the original manufacture. They also put into practice the concepts Grossmann left behind.
