Y'know what I've never gotten with Joe's opening quotes when fighting Marvel's heroes? When he's paired up against the ones even non-comic readers know like Spidey, Cap, Hulk, Logan and Iron Man, he doesn't fanboy over them. Yet when he's fighting Nova, a character that hadn't appeared in any TV Show or movie yet when the game came out, THAT's the one he fanboys over. I admit that it's awesome the developers made Joe a fan of a character who at the time didn't get any attention beyond the comics, but you'd think he'd have similar reactions to the much bigger heroes and have more to say than just "Whoa! You're a real hero? For real?"
Dee Bradley Baker was Viewtiful Joes VA in all the games including Red Hot Rumble, except for MvC3. There could be multiple reasons. Maybe Baker couldn’t perform Joe like he used to and saw no point. Or Capcom simply didn’t contact him. Also Baker at the time was most likely recording his lines as Ra al ghul for Batman Arkham City. I don’t know if there are definitive stories, but I haven’t looked into it.
Seeing who his Japanese voice actor is, one would almost expect him to shout "GODDO FINGAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" during his Viewtiful God Hand hyper.

That's fair. I don't think Jason Palmer (Anime Joe) was terrible. The voice he used doesn't fit in general for Joe. I think the MvC3 voice actor (Darell Guilbeau) is meh. He sounds similar, but not nearly as good as Dee Bradley Baker. And in terms of his Japanese voices, the only one I hated was Joe's replacement voice for Tatsunoko vs Capcom.
