The world this paints is one of paranoia.

The story reminds me of The Mandela Catalogue, how they imitate people but they have a really uncanny look to them. In the song they're also trying to convince the person to come out and join them, like how an alter was knocking and trying to get Mark to come out in the series. This is also very interesting because Halloween is supposed to be the day where the dead can roam free on the streets like humans.
