G'day Ryan love your stuff mate your my fishing idol, i was just wondering how far up the river you went when you were bagging the big king and baz because im a local of rocky and i cant seem to find that place on any maps
We caught them in a couple of locations. The fish move around the river and Port Alma. Depends on tide, rainfall and temp. It’s pretty complex. All explained in Barra Basics though. We were further out the front due to the floods at the time.
Hey guys defs watch this channel I have him subscribed and recieve emails every week I have learnt alot of knowledge and have come a fair way thanks Ryan🤙🏼🇭🇲
@@RyanMoodyFishing I might have to do a course. I’ve been fishing that river for over a decade but havnt caught a king or Barra in the last 5 years of trying.
So I’ve fished there a few times now in the last 5 yrs and I’d give it a solid 1 on a scale of 0-10 with 10 being the best. Therefore if the net free zone is doing as you all say and made it so much better than how shit must it have been prior to 2015. Seriously if I’m rating it a 1 on 2021 would it have been a -7 before?
Maybe you should do one of our courses. To get good at fishing requires observation over many years to know your quarry. But none of that helps if there are no fish. Once there are abundant fish, if you are a good angler you will catch them. I see many people anchored over huge schools of big fish catching nothing as they are using the wrong techniques. I also see many people using the right techniques in places where there are no fish. I have a free workshop that may help you understand. Take a look:
I caught my first 2 threadys in the Fitzroy 137&157 was stoked and that was to the fork amazing fighters.
long live the net free zone

I’m not sure mate. We didn’t have any problems and our fishing students are doing well.
