Best part of the video is the last minute or so. Find what motivates you and pursue it. At 80+ and still active is a nice goal for everyone to have.

I love this guys philosophy on training. Not blindly following tradition, but always keeping a creative attitude and trying to improve on the training methods you were taught.

I know who you are, both of us were younger then. I was in Okinawa in 1972 and 1973 with Chotoku Makabe and Hohan Soken. Happy to see you in good health and good spirit Don Takashi. I just started to explore things on the internet. I will subscribe.

I respect this man even more after he tells us he made his training equipment, the message to stop following and the importance of being one of a kind. I also make my own things, we're real DIY's guys.

The biggest part to be admired is the way he reaches the target hole by the "Bo".
Very accurately, he pokes down each time in a relaxed manner.
As a young martial artist with more than twenty years of experience, I can completely understand the exemplary skills of this great master.
It's very inspiring also it's creating such a doubt in me too. 😁
Whether I will be able to reach such a level in the future is unknown.
A big bow to his age, experience, and skill.
Thanks for posting such a nice video...
    Thank you guys....😊🙏

lol most people are dying at 84 years old while this guy keeps living for the day. The one handed Bo jab to the face looks devastating.
