I truly liked this protector initially: nice fit (for me, at least) and all around protection. Also wears nicely with a Leatt neck brace. Took a couple of landings as well, no issues. After 10hrs of use, however, one of the shoulder pieces came off - while taking off my jersey! The single-screw mount for it is hardly durable. So, if you look for good shoulder protection, I suggest looking elsewhere. Or be prepared to do a DYI mount for the shoulder cups at some point. Or just leave out the shoulder cups altogether.
You'll see the Fox Raptor does one of the better jobs protecting your side (rib area). Often times, this area gets ignored, but we know getting a handlebar there is pretty common!

JC would this have good rib protection. 2 weeks ago I done just what you said, landing on my on elbow. I'm not over it yet. thanks

Will the alpinestras BNS neckbrace fit it well?
