If anyone wants to know, this works well with the Atlas Neck Brace. I am able to fit it nicely under my Raptor Vest (2018 model) which is identical to this one
man i bought the atlas and i have a fox raptor, how do you put the neck brace on?above or below?I can’t find a position where it fits....Thank you so much for your help
@@gio0008 Hi, I use my Atlas neck brace under it and fits great. Try loosing a bit the Roost so you get more space for it. Once you manage to put the neck brace in place, it sits perfect for me.
@@andressokol3472 sorry but i don’t know english well, what’s the roost? Currently i put the back of neck brace under the chest protector and the front over, but it’s very uncomfortable
Hey Chase. I broke my ribs for the 2nd time this year. Handlebar keeps hitting me in the sides . This vest covers that area nicely but I wear a Leatt 3.5 neck brace. Which chest protector would you recommend that covers side ribs and works well with my neck brace? Thanks
Definitely check out the Leatt 5.5 Pro HD and 6.5 Pro. Both offer great flank protection and will integrate perfectly with your Leatt neck brace. They're both pretty similar fitting and offer about the same coverage. The Raptor is CE rated in the best and back, and the Airframe is CE level 2 in the back and level 1 in the front. Bot could be worn for enduro riding.
what's the difference between the S/M and the L/XL model? is it just the amount of foam around the hard plastic (i'm talking about the chest/sides specifically) or is there a bigger amount of plastic cover aswell?
I'm exactly in the middle between the two sizes and i dont really know which one to buy. I tried the S/M on, but i'm not sure that it covers my sides very well... it actually fits me just like the guy in this video... is it enough? or should i grab the L/XL for more coverage on the sides?
The L/XL will give a little more coverage but not a huge amount. If you call into Rocky Mountain and order both sizes at the same time, we can set you up with a return label for the size you don't want and you can send it back with free shipping.
I had S/M and the L/XL models to compare. The foam on the L/M is more around the plastic area compared to the S/M model... so when RIDING, I found the foam cut into me when in the "Attack position" I went with the S/M version and it fits well. I'm 176lbs , 5'11" slim build.

How does this compare to the Airframe Pro? Is one more enduro oriented?
Thanks in advance.

Which one offers good protection and is good for neck braces? Do you thick the new fox soft back fits good with the neck brace from A stars ?
That would be a good one. The Soft Back is super low profile. It's my favorite from them. The A-1 from Astars is a good one too. - Chase
Hey chase, was wondering if I should go with the alpine stars bionic roost deflector or the raptor. I want the most protection. Thank you
I would go with the Alpinestars. It's lighter, breaths better, and comfortable. - Chase

Hi Chase, can you remove the arm pads, but keep the shoulder pads? :)
I'm not 100% sure. Sit tight and let me pull one and i'll see what I can find out. - Chase

Can you take off the shoulder parts?
On this piece, the shoulder pads do not come off.
Rocky Mountain ATV MC on which piece can you take off the shoulder parts?
I have fox raptor and you can take off shoulder parts

I don’t need a roost protector cuz I always pull a hole shot.
Your balls and tires must be HUGE.
Can womans wear this too ?
