The thing that is always a reminder while traveling Europe, is how young our country is. Nothing like seeing a 12th century castle or church to put some perspective on our own history.
Wonderfully put together, Tony. You covered in 17 minutes so much, and very well documented. Thank you. We love Europe and what it has to offer. So much history, diversification, iconic and world famous places you sometimes only read about, and to actually be there to see for yourself is so special. Thanks for the video. We hope to have one last visit to Europe next May to take in a cruise around the British Isles and to take a river cruise down the Rhine from Basel to Amsterdam, subject to our health staying good, of course. Great video, though, Tony. I understand through Don's vlog today, that you want to go back to Europe and have some time together on a cruise there. Do it....those memories can't be replaced.
Tony,, that was one of the best videos I’ve ever seen… - Ireland and Scotland are just awesome.. - So much history, it kinda takes you back in time.. - Wow !! 🌷
And visit the Anne Frank Museum. Probably one of the most moving sites I have ever visited other than the Dachau concentration camp in Germany. I believe that the Anne Frank house is something everyone should see. And never forget.
Welcome to transatlantic cruises and Europe! I'm an American, but I always cruise Europe. European cruises vs. Caribbean. Awesome stuff vs. another beach/bad beer.
Thank you so much for the highlights of your tour. It was lovely to see the places in England and Scotland that I have been before, brought back many great memories. Makes me want to go to Europe and see the places that I haven't been. Thanks again.
Wow, this was an amazing video. You hit so many spots. This looks like a wonderful once-in-a-lifetime trip and you sure did a lot. Congrats on getting to mark things off of your bucket list and thank you for bringing me along.
Great video Tony we loved it ,very well made. my wife Vicki and I did a 12 day cruise out of Dover last summer we covered the Baltic Sea area. Thanks Buddy we watch every day
Just returned from a cruise around the UK. The Titanic Experience in Belfast is not to be missed. Also The Book of Kells and the Old Library Long Room at Trinity University in Dublin. Just so much to take in. I need another visit🤣
So glad you enjoyed Rotterdam. It was very nostalgic seeing our apartment bldg just across the Swan bridge. I'd love to see Oslo and Copenhagen. Glad you had such a great time.
Took a trip down memory lane… was in Copenhagen back in 2017… and had to stay 4 extra nights due to a hurricane in Florida that shit down the airport and created some havoc… so got to enjoy many sights there…
I really, really enjoyed todays video. So well made and so many great places to see. It is wonderful how blessed you know you are too. Hopefully Jenny B will join you on your next trip there. I think she would enjoy it. Have a great week! Leaving in 51 days for next cruise!!
Tony, This was an excellent video. I had the privilege of being on the Rotterdam during this same voyage and experience many of these shore excursions with you. Your video really did an excellent job of showing off the highlights of this wonderful cruise. Thank you for taking the time to put this together.
Great vlog, Tony. We also went to Cotelle when we were on the transatlantic cruise with Don last October. Wonderful sights and sounds and history. Also, I know you are not a farmer so you are forgiven, but my nephew owns a couple Scottish Highland cattle. So yes, we do have them here in the states. You just have to look closely. Thanks for the great vlog(s)!
Thank you for the wonderful video. I am getting so excited for my up coming cruise flying to UK and leaving on a 9 day Norwegian cruise then doing a back to back 12 day European cruise. So watching your video is giving me lots of information. Thank you for sharing❤
Wonderful to see my 'home turf' through your eyes! I'm so glad you managed to pack in such a lot of iconic places & hope you'll come back again, we've plenty more for you to see! Much of my travels have been over your side of 'the pond', NY, Washington, San Fran, Vegas, LA, Florida, Niagara,Toronto, & Mexico! Now I'm over all that long flight palaver I'm sticking to cruising on this side have just come back from 1st Princess (Sky) from Southampton to France & Spain, our 7th cruise with 2 more booked! Have been a subscriber for a few years now, love your 'punishments' not seen many lately! Thanks & keep on 'CRUISING'!😎🤗😁
What a wonderful video. I enjoy hearing your daily news blogs but this one was a wonderful surprise. Some very iconic places visited on that cruise. Thanks for sharing @lalidoloca!
Some really cool stuff there, Tony! You stated you didn't do much in Amsterdam, you could have(should have?) gone to see Rembrandt's house, I have heard it is a pretty enlightening tour..Maybe next time?...Thanks for sharing the great sites!
Loved your video, we just finished our UK explorer on the Viking Venus, and were able to see Canterbury, Oslo, Loch Ness and Edinburgh. This cruise was a once in a lifetime event.
It would've been cool for you if you were able to go to the place where Lego is made 😊 Love this video! I was able to go to Europe last year for 10 days, but it's just never long enough to see everything!
Wow what a wonderful trip . Hopefully you will get to go to the Mediterranean next , so much to see there also , if you get to Malta it’s a small island steeped in history, if you like churches there is more then three hundred on the island and most are mind boggling the beauty in them is amazing 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇲🇹🇲🇹
Totally awesome video, Tony! Thank you so much for sharing these truly amazing highlights with us! Right now, seeing such wonders in person is only a wistful "maybe someday" for us...
TONY TONY TONY! You surprised me with your reference to Geoffrey Chaucer while not doing a "mash up" with A Knights Tale. I hope your trip to Tivoli Gardens included a stop at the food hall. There is a pizza place that makes the most incredible pizza, that has no more than the equivalent of a Vienna sausage amount of meat, goat sausage, that blew me away. Imagine my shocking surprise, as a meat lovers pizza kind of guy, how much I COULD NOT get enough of it. Amsterdam = Stroop wafels
Looks like an amazing trip and I love Leeds Castle. NB the last King of England was William of Orange in 1688. Since then all monarchs have been monarchs of the United Kingdom.
We started going to Europe in 1997. It is our favorite place to tour and our favorite way to get there or get home is a transatlantic. You went to some of our favorite places. Great job documenting this.
Tony I love your show and look forward to it daily. Your European trip brought back many fond memories. I've traveled to Scandinavia twice and both times I visited Oslo and Copenhagen. Seeing the sculpture park, Holmenkollen, Tivoli and the Little Mermaid again was a great memory refresher. Hopefully we can knock back a couple Carlsberg on a ship somewhere in the future.
Hello Tony wonderful recap of your voyage to England and Europe I've been to most of those place the Sculpture Park in Oslo is wonderful love Canterbury it's the history I love .Greetings from Sydney.
Hi Tony, I was fortunate enough to have gotten to travel to London when I was in college in the late 1980’s. It was a trip through the University of TN at Martin which I attended. There were other universities on this trip as well. It was a 10 day trip that included some excursions outside of the city to Stratford upon Avon to Shakespeare’s birthplace, to Stonehenge, and Bath. I saw amazing history in these places and would love to return. I enjoyed watching the highlights of your trip very much. It reminded me of my trip oh so many years ago and of the amazing history that many of us descended from. I would like to add that I live in a small rural town in Tennessee probably only 30 miles from the safari park you visited just last week. You are definitely my favorite cruise vlogger that I started following once my husband and I decided to begin cruising again after the shut down. We have been cruising once a year since 2011 except for 2021 and 2022. Keep up the good work as we enjoy ALL of your videos.
👏👏👏I really enjoyed this travel video. I wish I could do that trip. Remembering the Titanic was a real experience! Thank you for sharing your experience!
Fabulous journey, Tony! Thanks for sharing. I’m excited to see Tivoli Gardens and the Little Mermaid statue when I depart from Copenhagen on a Norwegian fjord cruise next June (2024). It will be my first time in Europe!
Sir, it makes me happy listening to you being happy - that’s why I follow your channel even though it is perfectly clear to me that I will never cruise. However, should your cruising ever bring you past Lisbon, Portugal (we get our share of cruise stops here) I’d be very happy to show you around. Thank you.
Glad you liked some historic spots in England Tony!!! Even though I’m English, it Still sounds strange hearing you say the King of England… 51 years of God Save The Queen, the change is taking some getting used too !!! Loving the tour!! I’d love to go to Copenhagen and spend a few days there.. So, So much history there!!! Would love to go in to the cubed houses in Rotterdam and the food Market that looks an amazing structure and I love all things Norwegian, cruised the fjords there twice so far. Magnificent choice of 30 Tony!! Thank you for sharing !!
Hey, Tony! You’re our favorite cruise reviewer. We think we have you beat on intense upcoming cruise (see below). Before I ask my question, let me answer one of YOURS…We totally like you better as a spaz. I relate because my mum and I ca-ruuuse a lot and you’re the same age as me, so I appreciate your opinions even more. We’ve got 2 back to back cruises coming up on the same ship: The Island Princess, leaving in about a month. We’ve watched many of your reviews, and while you’ve touched a few places, (Denmark, Sweden, Scotland) we haven’t seen much about where we are going; primarily the Baltic countries. I should also say, RC is definitely my favorite cruise line. For this trip, however, we’re on Princess, which has always seemed to me like others feel about HA… old people. I also hate sea days, especially when there’s just old-people stuff to do. Probably why I enjoy RC, I’m your age. Anyway, these are the ports of our itinerary we haven’t been before. if you’ve done these cruises or been to these places, please share your thoughts! 14-Day Scandinavia & Baltic Collection : Bornholm, Denmark; Visby, Sweden; Tallinn, Estonia; Riga, Latvia; Klaipeda, Lithuania (We’re actually going from Riga to Vilnius over night, then catching up in Klaipeda); Gdańsk, Poland. 14-Day Icelandic & Norwegian Fjords - Haugesund, Norway; Alesund, Norway; Seydisfjordur, Iceland; Akureyri, Iceland; Grundarfjordur, Iceland; Reykjavik, Iceland.
Fab video as ever Tony, so glad you enjoyed your brief visit here to Inverness - feels odd seeing the High Street on the video of a major cruise blogger! Did you know - the world premiere of the Ted Danson film Loch Ness was actually held here in Inverness in the now long gone La Scala cinema (near the bus station). We get so many cruise liners up here docking in Invergordon - well over 100 this year alone! Haste ye back as they say in the tourist areas!
The thing that is always a reminder while traveling Europe, is how young our country is. Nothing like seeing a 12th century castle or church to put some perspective on our own history.

I'm rather amazed at the amount of globe you have been able to cover this past year! AND bit by a camel.
Tony,, that was one of the best videos I’ve ever seen… - Ireland and Scotland are just awesome.. - So much history, it kinda takes you back in time.. - Wow !! 🌷
Being English and married to a Dane it was great to see what you found interesting in both of our home countries, glad that you enjoyed it all.
In 2018, we stayed in the grooms quarters at Leeds Castle. It was amazing! After they closed, we had the grounds all to ourselves. It was magical!
Very cool video. As for Amsterdam now you have a reason to go back to Europe. 🙂
And visit the Anne Frank Museum. Probably one of the most moving sites I have ever visited other than the Dachau concentration camp in Germany. I believe that the Anne Frank house is something everyone should see. And never forget.
Tony, you are my kind of tourist. I love castles and cathedrals.
Thanks for sharing your European experience Tony. It was nicely put together.
In Amsterdam my number 1 place of interest was the Anne Frank Museum. We spent 3 days in Amsterdam before a cruise. So many places to see.
WOW! Thank you for sharing your trip with us.
Welcome to transatlantic cruises and Europe!
I'm an American, but I always cruise Europe.
European cruises vs. Caribbean.

Just finished a TA on HAL and went to Dover, Rotterdam, Amsterdam as well as Ireland, Azores. So much fun. Canterbury cathedral was unreal!
Tony, this was my first post in years. This was a terrific video, brings back the videos of old. 🐸
Wow, this was an amazing video. You hit so many spots. This looks like a wonderful once-in-a-lifetime trip and you sure did a lot. Congrats on getting to mark things off of your bucket list and thank you for bringing me along.
I'm glad You had an enjoyable transatlantic and European visit.
I am so pleased you enjoyed your short visit to my home country UK and as it happens you were so close to where I live when you visited Leeds Castle x

Enjoyed your memorial tour of northern England, Norway, Scotland. Thank you. Would love to take this cruise.
Just returned from a cruise around the UK. The Titanic Experience in Belfast is not to be missed. Also The Book of Kells and the Old Library Long Room at Trinity University in Dublin. Just so much to take in. I need another visit🤣

Your video really did an excellent job of showing off the highlights of this wonderful cruise. Thank you for taking the time to put this together.
Thank you again for another great show! We are on our very first cruise, and you are to blame! 😂
I love seeing anyone I know going out into the world to find new and interesting things. Enjoy, Tony!
What a wonderful synopsis of your trip. I am jealous!!
Thank you for the wonderful video. I am getting so excited for my up coming cruise flying to UK and leaving on a 9 day Norwegian cruise then doing a back to back 12 day European cruise. So watching your video is giving me lots of information. Thank you for sharing❤

Great job of making this video. Europe has a lot of historical places. A must do cruise
Tony looks like you had a great time and I'm happy for you!! 😊
A very nice travelogue. We love going to England and look forward to going back to Scotland as it has been a good while since we were last there.
We visited Edinburgh Castle in 2015 and Inverness. You had a beautiful, sunny day. This looks like a great cruise. You visited ports I want to visit.
You are the best content creator ever! ❤ you are excellent.
We've been on the Rotterdam twice, love that ship!

Lots of open air museums in Germany. The Vogtsbauernhof in the Black Forest is a great one. It could be visited if on a Rhine River cruise
Great video, Tony. A lot of history and fascinating spots.
