@@lukario223 it's not only hardware that gets better over time. Software also gets more optimized over time. I don't doubt that GPU's in the future will also have a dedicated AI chip for rendering. Similar to what Nvidia has done with DLSS and DLSS3 FG in 40 series

Videogames suffer from an over detalization, over saturation and too many details to be able to sell a realistic scene. When you look to AI footage, taht is in fact, lower in resolution, the biggest "oh this is closer to real life" is the color managment, light interaction and even other sutle camera artifacts taht may come up in AI generated footage. I recently saw a Project Zomboid AI Filter and the AI made some wild compositions that should be an inspiration starting point for anyone that might try creating a shader for this game

I feel like in the future with this technology becoming even crazier, some people will just live their life in artificial worlds that makes them happy.

Well I dind't like many of those AI reimagined videos of games before. This RDR2 video on the other hand is a complete different story and does in fact make the overall realism of RDR2 look even more real.
AI to me looks like what I imagine earth would look like to aliens. There’s such a oddly uncanny valley effect going on with the movement- like a little too fast then a little too slow
this is amazing, it would be INSANE if you could post a complete playthrough with AI generated graphics... all missions back to back, like turning the game into a movie, lol
It seems to me that NVIDIA, which loves AI so much, will do something similar in their future video cards, because they have already come up with RTX Remix, so all they have to do is do it with textures and light together.
With the help of AI we will be able to see games that use this technology to create textures and lighting in real time without using brute force; saving costs and money for consumers since You won't have to have an RTX, but a graphics card where the AI can create without complications, and it will also be able to create hyper-realistic effects with textures that react in real time.
I think this will be a future, AI will generating in real life games in 10-20 years...this is proof that we are live maybe in a simulation like this but more complex
