Lawyer is a great character. He comes back quite a few times.

Ironically, they also talk about how the idea for the dicktowel spawned from those stupid novelty t-shirts they sell on boardwalks in beach towns, you know, the shirts with the woman’s body and giant breasts - and specifically, how Rob always thought they were the dumbest thing ever and wondered what kind of unoriginal losers would actually buy one of them…and then one day his mom and her wife came home wearing them and raving about how they were like the funniest thing ever.
I think they sold so many the site went down for a moment when the episode aired

It says a lot that the gangs best idea (the towels) is the one that Pat is vocal about being bad.
Dee actually did point out to Charlie that the reason he has hundreds of cats outside his building is because he has open cans of cat food everywhere, but Charlie countered that it’s actually because his building is full of rats.

The two best things in this whole reaction: Danny DeVito saying "Egg" in the funniest frame of the entire episode, and Pat slowly realizing that tequila and gunpowder are not a good mix

The lawyer had an episode of Reno 911 where he plays "Reading Ron" ... who visits for a day with the Sheriff's Dept. A must view because he puts all of his comedic skills to work ! Very funny !

The best part is that the lawyer's contract isn't actually valid: a signed contract requires all parties to be fully aware of what's in it and what that means, so you actually can't just trick somebody into signing a contract that (for example) gives you all their profits. It's even been held up in a couple cases that "I didn't read the contract." is a viable defense, since some people have gotten out of abusive EULAs by claiming that nobody ever reads them so they can't be held responsible for agreeing to something they didn't realize they were agreeing to. This is especially true when a contract is obviously malicious in nature (like the lawyer who drafted it giving himself all the profits when that clearly isn't the intention of the other signatories).
But the gang is so stupid they'll never realize that all they have to do is challenge the contract in court to (most likely) get it invalidated.
Yep, that's the thing: you need a meeting of the minds, but the lawyer knows there's zero chance the gang knows that 😂 I mean, ffs, they thought "I ate the contract" would be enough to invalidate it lmao
I'm not a lawyer but EULA, which only has to be clicked, is different from a contract, which is signed on every page. I would think that no jury/judge would excuse you for not reading a document about merchandising at your own bar. But then again I ain't a lawyer lol.
well , then dee could've said ' since you ate the contract cancelling my merchandising rights you HAVE to pay me properly' but i doubt the guys would care either way (wouldn't be surprised if she got more of her money harassing customers to tip her upfront or pestering her exes into paying for shit lol)

People have been shouting for horror protagonists to run out of the house and call the cops for decades. “Correcting the character” is a very common thing in any group watch setting I’ve ever been a part of. I will admit that occasionally Pat will say “why don’t they just . . .” And it *does* seem for a moment like he’s genuinely confused as to why they don’t the the normal thing.

Mac and Dennis took all their ideas from others. They take all of Dee's ideas from @2:17, then steal Frank's vodka gun idea. OK, the thong was Dennis's idea.
My favorite part of this episode is Dee and Charlie doing surveillance on the "Jew Lawyer" as Frank calls him. Dee is trying to get Charlie's head back in the game but she couldn't move past the fact that the lady in the nextdoor apartment ate an entire sleeve of Chips Ahoy cookies 😂😂 That is a scene that will always be funny👏🏼
