Mr. Rex, thank you so much testing the Master Side Feed Airbrush. It was very helpful. Also, my condolences for the passing of your bird. They become a part of the family.
Hope you all had a great Independence Day. I like the fact the Master side airbrush can be adjusted for lefty’s, there is so many tools and accessories that don’t cater for us left handlers. what a great feature.😊
My favorite tool the Magic eraser man been using it for years. I use them even in my fish tanks ..but for weathering it's amazing when I clean my Air brush needles. I usually chuck them in my Dremel and use the Magic eraser and clean way .
I have a Master 233 that came with my compressor. It has tolerated my learning experiences. It does clean up well. I had been looking at the side feed - so thank you for doing this review! It was very helpful.
Happy 4th! The weather has been pretty abysmal in the mid-west also. Finally got what I would call a nice summer day today with temps in the upper 80’s and lots of sunshine. I’m taking advantage of it and getting some priming done outside. Thanks for another great demo video.
BARTSHARP do an almost identical brush, the 181. It comes with a 0.2 needle fitted and no extra needles, but it does have a pressure adjuster built into it.
I build military kits and most of the paints you have I wouldnt have a use for but I didnt know you had those primers, and the black and red oxide are the 2 I use the most,I think I might get a cpl bottles, the black looks good
Happy 4th from MA!! Yup...bummer weather...but we'll live and still have a good time!! CA has constant good weather...same w/NM (lived in both before...originally from NM...so plug for the home state here..LoL)
Being able to put the cup on either side is a very nice feature. I can see times I would want to use the airbrush left handed when I need another tool in my right hand.
I have a Master G233 side feed airbrush. Comes with the same accessories.... only difference is that the side mount bowl screws into the airbrush. Like the airbrush.... usually use the .8 nozzle on this one for doing primer or all over base coat.
I could definitely make good use of that brush. I especially like the dual side-feed option. I've subbed now that I found you - I just got into airbrushing and I like your method of presentation and I like your delivery. Rock on, my friend.
Great test! For the price I wasn't expecting a lot, but it did work well. It might be a nice addition just for laying down primers and some of the other thick finishes I work with. Sorry for your loss. I had a cat pass a couple of years ago that was 22 years old and that encompasses a lot of your life no matter how old you are. I hope you're doing well and having a good day.
Happy 4th of July everyone! Sucks the weather is not cooperating on your side, it is mid 70s and sunny in L.A. atm Strong brush, a lot of good qualities honestly(kinda worried by the lack of judgement on the s&h side though😅) Overall another home run walkthrough buddy! Sorry for your loss, Sasha lives on in your memories of him, cherish them forever.
Was thinking about picking one of these up while it was on sale, I might just splurge now. I have a few styles of Master brushes that I got just for general heavy body painting and found they all work really well, especially for their price point. Master has really stepped up in quality when compared to my 5 year old brush to a newer one I got a few months back. Great Video as always!
Great video as always! Airbrush seems to be performing very well, especially for that price range. There is one thing bugging me, and that is durability of those metal-in metal connections without seals (nozzle and paint cup on this one). I have 2 "chinesium vulgaris" airbrushes in GSI Creos style, and i broke nozzle on one of them just by screwing it in a bit too hard, so i'm a bit suspicious about metal quality on cheaper range of airbrushes. Anyone has long time experience with having "cheaper" airbrush of this style of connections ? Sorry to hear about your bird.
People move to Arizona for a reason! Phoenix has about 300 days per year of sunny days! The summer is no joke - but it's our winter. During the summer, we scoot from car to building just like I did in winter in Montana (were I'm from). It's a great motorcycle state, the economy is great with lots of semiconductor manufacturing moving in! Maybe when you hit 100k subscribers you could make the move! Also, I sure would like to see you try out some better air brushes. Maybe take another look at the Colani? Or compare 3 trigger airbrushes like the Grex and GSI? Thanks Robert!
Howdy Rex, do you recommend using a moisture trap on those portable compressor? Also that Magic eraser works great. I saw that in one of your earlier post.
Great review as always. Sadly, being a leftie, I am going to have to pass on this unit. I can do a top side no problemo and although I can work ambidextrously, I prefer using my dominant left hand for fine detail work. Thanks again on your tireless efforts on reviewing pretty much EVERYTHING model/figurines hobby related!
@@barbatosrex9473 Must have missed it, as you said early on that it wasn't able to be moved to the left hand side. I did pop out during the video for a cup of coffee in the kitchen so if you did figure it out, I did miss it.

@@barbatosrex9473 If it's not too much trouble, could you point me to the Patriot 105 review by way of a link? I think there's a mechanical problem with mine, as the trigger sticks in the full on position unless I push the rocker closed.

Smaller pointed needles usually equate to finer detailed lines and less paint being sprayed...while larger needles put out more paint and typically give broader lines Air pressure can/should be adjusted from 15-30 PSI when spraying...depending on what you're doing and preference.

Question, what's the difference between .3 .5 and .8 can you please explain what they do and what the difference air pressure
Smaller pointed needles usually equate to finer detailed lines and less paint being sprayed...while larger needles put out more paint and typically give broader lines
Air pressure can/should be adjusted from 15-30 PSI when spraying...depending on what you're doing and preference.
Bigger needles also allow for you to spray thicker / less thinned paints...while thinner needles will clog up with paint that is not thinned enough
Again, create video Sorry for your loss for sasha

what is the water and dust trap you use?
With your polished alloy does the surface need to be gloss or will it have that effect on a flat base
Yes. It looks like flat aluminum over flat black
