So sorry to hear of the loss of your little buddy. Most people who haven't lived with birds don't realize how affectionate they can be. They all have their own little personalities. You must have taken very good care your little friend for him to have lived such a long life. I've had cockatiels for many years myself. I have one left who has lived to be 26 so far. They are true family, and you have my condolences.
Another little tip for anyone who uses these types of storage racks (or similar ones): if the paint color isn't shown/listed on your lid....you can airbrush/paint the top of your lid to make the color identification A LOT easier! Hope that helps!
I love these videos, you save me lots of money and showcase some excellent products. You really do make getting into this hobby easier. Thanks for all your effort!
All pets are family. When I was growing up, my dad had a Moluccan Cockatoo named Sampson. He was a great bird, he would sit in your lap and you could scratch him like a cat or a dog.
It is so cool to see the stuff you test out. Especially where not all places have these things in stores, so a lot of folks have to roll the dice and order things hoping for the best. Your vids definitely help cut the guesswork down🙂
If you attach a hose to the compressor you can take it anywhere. I airbrush on my back porch for bigger stuff. It's really nice to be able to just unplug and walk outside and keep painting.
The "unpronounceable" airbrush with adjustable air pressures seems like a decent entry level set up for someone doing cars. I'd love to have push button adjustment like that! Another great video Robert, thanks!
11:45 "That's what he said!" 😉 I really like those thick, clear acrylic racks for storage. There's just something about the having the ability to see through the rack that makes it look cleaner to me. Thanks for the video Robert, keep em' coming! I scour UA-cam daily checking to see if you have any new videos up! I often go back through and take notes from some of your older paint videos often too! Have a great 4th of July holiday! 🇺🇲
That is a very nice case for those paint pens and markers. My wife got a nice wonderful collection of those markers and pens and I like to use them from time to time and it's better in a nice case than a box.
Paul from NB Canada. Thanks for all the reviews, you're costing me a small fortune!!! Lol In all seriousness thanks for the great reviews. I have been looking at getting the Dispiae paint markers and your reviews play a big part of my decisions.
One thing that i find useful is to use Avery brand round labels on the tops of paint bottles such as Tamiya and Mission. I use a fine point marker to write the code and color name. You can even put a drop of paint on the top, and then you will know exactly what is each jar. I keep some of my paint in drawers, so this allows me to quickly identify each bottle. Another great video, thanks!
I just finished staining and assembling the 105 Vallejo Plyodlex rack with drawers. Looks great and the drawers and top shelf add lots of storage. Plus the 6 bonus paint handles.
Interesting to read the comments about the wood vs. the acrylic paint racks, and how some folks prefer one over the other. I can appreciate the functionality of acrylic (see through, better visual access to the bottles), but as a hobbyist woodworker I appreciate most woodcraft items and will go that way myself for the paint racks. Thanks for reviewing them. I'm very sorry for the loss of your bird, losing a pet is always a difficult experience. You have my condolences.
Thank you for posting the air brushes, I was wondering if they were worth buying they seemed pretty cool to use and not to cumbersome also thank you for posting links for all the tools and supplies you test it makes it easier to get them seeing how where im at most of the hobby shops have closed down except for Hobby Lobby which is ok but doesnt have the good stuff
One day hopefully we'll be able to watch you build a gundam or other model and enjoy watching you use your endless array of paint equipment as you go along. I'd say make it an MG RX-78 or something ;) That'll be fun to see your build methodology and tricks as well as the painting of each piece before assembly. Great video as always!
Sorry to hear about your loss. I know pets are more like family than family sometimes. My son is grown and out of the house with a wife and daughter of his own. Now all I have is my wife and two daughters. Zoe & Mia witch are two dachshunds. lol
You would think that most ofbthese brands would be universal due to the bottle size. I would love a paint rack, but I just started. So once I expand me work area I'll have to look into one of these. Thank you everyone for your tips and as always, Rex take care. Can't wait for the next video
Not bad airbrushes for the price. That .3mm needle on the silver MUGGSUG looks like it really pushed the paint. As per usual another great informative video. Sorry for the loss of your beloved pet. Losing a pet is always rough.
I'd use weld-on for the acrylic paint racks. This would create a weld-bond at the union, making the two effectively one part, so it should be pretty strong. I'd also suggest going with some taller carosel style paint racks, they don't take up much space on a bench or shelf except vertically, but can hold a lot of paints. I have one that's sized for 189 Vallejo/Army Painter sized bottles, and they make others for different sized bottles. That would let you compact your paint storage quite a bit and still have shelf space for other things.
The one with the replaceable battery is a big step up from here, meaning it cost about $70. When reaching that price point I say get a real compressor and a Gaahleri airbrush for just about a $100. But for the price it's really good especially with the option of choosing the air pressure
It works decent if you can get the airbrush to mount up and have your paint thinned correctly. I bought one when they must have first come out as it did not have the adapter shown in the video. Subsequently, without that adapter, air does come out non stop. I've ran my Ghaaleri ACE 98 and my GSI Creos ps 771 on it, but had to tap my own adapter (m7x.05) to do so. If you use this thing for over 10 minutes, it starts to get pretty hot and may get uncomfortable to hold for some folks, as a heads up.
@@lonewolflogistics52 Thanks that's good to know. I donated one of my old air brushes to a friend to learn on but have not found an inexpensive compressor. the heat would probably be a real negative for them. Thanks for the heads up.
Since I'm new at this, I buy off brand paints, not knowing any better. So comparing brand bottles doesn't really help me, measurements would work a lot better, including hole diameter and LWH of the piece. Thanks for the great videos!
I went for a similarly priced portable airbrush to the green one recently, I found that the compressor was way too weak to push the paint and it clogged almost immediately... slight possibility that I am a dumdum and don't know how much I have to thin the paint, since it's literally my first airbrush, but either way it's a big bummer.
We need long term tests. Most everything is going to work, as designed, out of the box. I bought a compressor the was tested on here and it began to clatter about 6 weeks later
The adjustable air pressure airbrush looks like a good tool for priming. How long does the charge last on these airbrushes? Thanks for a great review video.
I can confirm this. However, if you plan on using this thing for that long, your hand might not be. Continual use will build up some solid heat and it might make it uncomfortable for some to even hang onto the airbrush. Just a heads up. Condolences on your loss Mr. Rex. It's tough to lose a pet. They are family.
Hey robert what whole kit would you bye i want to shirts hats ect trying to find the kit with somthing guner brand i think so multiple one that does it all please
The reason your all in one airbrushes are staying on is because you're screwing on the airbrushes without a proper double action valve attached. The green one had nothing attached when you screwed it on.The silver one, the adapter must be for something else. Maybe look at the instructions.
Incorrect on the silver one. I own the silver one and it stays on all the time, no matter what configuration I've put it through. I bought mine when they first came out and I did not have the valve shown in the video. To me, from watching the video, it seems to be the "double action" valve because without it, the compressor brush blows non-stop. In the video, he states the air from the brush shuts off after releasing the trigger. Mine does not. I had to tap a BST fitting to get other airbrushes to work on it (m7x.05) but it stays running all the time, no matter what. Even with a GSI Creos PS 771 and the MAC valve closed. Even if you plug off the compressor hole.

Robert, sorry about Sasha, Sir. On behalf of us all, thank you for sharing what you do here, Sir.
Another little tip for anyone who uses these types of storage racks (or similar ones): if the paint color isn't shown/listed on your lid....you can airbrush/paint the top of your lid to make the color identification A LOT easier! Hope that helps!
I did that on all my GW paint pots. But I also wrote the initials (or symbol) of the paint, not just a spot.
Condolences on your loss. Nice video, always enjoy your work.
Our pets absolutely are family. My condolences again. Love the video.

That acrylic stand looks much better than those cardboard looking particle board stands. Sucks about the Tamiya though that’s mostly what I use.
Tips keep on coming. I learn something every time I watch the channel! Good job!

Great Video, and am sorry for your loss.
love the reviews, may get those wood paint stands they look good
Nice new product demo, Rex and sorry for your loss.
It’s a good day when you hear “welcome back to the bench”

Yeppp cheap airbrush, nice to hear, some are updating to be really good, tempted me to have one of them
on the airbrush with the adapter you might be able to put on a Grex air valve drop the air pressure down and see see if it has more control
Thanks for another great video.
Your videos help beginners like me keep them coming.. thanks
Amazing video! Those acrylic markers look nice
Great video Robert ,keep em coming I'll keep watching
Love seeing new things
I really like these tips and tricks and product review videos! Happy 4th!
Sorry for your loss buddy
Those markers are good . I use those some . Have a few different types . Those are as good as any i have used .
Love the new product tests, keep them coming!
Great video thank you

The wood rack was very nice the clear rack was not so good! You can see all the dust on it and does not fit everything! Great video ❤

For my occasional use that might be just the right airbrush for me.
bought the markers thanks for the tip
Awesome video as usual. Keep them coming.
Sorry about Sasha ,I think the air valve that came in the bag with the beauty one makes it single action or double action
awesome video, I wonder how the adjustable portable airbrush compressor works with a different airbrush like the ACE
Great information, ty for the video!
That dual action set is awesome!! Would you prefer it to the other one that has the replaceable battery?
The one with the replaceable battery is a big step up from here, meaning it cost about $70. When reaching that price point I say get a real compressor and a Gaahleri airbrush for just about a $100. But for the price it's really good especially with the option of choosing the air pressure
Has the Cherry Cola plant come back in stock still looking to get a couple of bottles?
Always sad to loose a member of the family...as always, can't say enough about helpful your videos are for all of us. Model On!
An a Happy 4th of July to you 😊
I wonder how that silver compressor will work with an better air brush. One with a mac valve and smaller needle.
It works decent if you can get the airbrush to mount up and have your paint thinned correctly. I bought one when they must have first come out as it did not have the adapter shown in the video. I didn't see a link for the marker bag
Happy 4 th to everyone.

Research tells me at least an hour

Now I wanna pick your brain about metal, too!
Great product test. Did you thin the paint at all?
A portable airbrush could be handy for some jobs.
Very saddening when you loose a pet, which becomes a part of your family….a big hole is left in your heart. Thanks for the video……Mike
Nice
does the airbrush run continuously without the extra adapter?
Yes
Can you share the marker bag link? Thanks!
I showed that bag in my last Tips and Tools video, the link is there too
@@barbatosrex9473 oh let me check - thanks!
interesting enough the first video i subscribe to was the video you introduced the giveaway

1 1/2 inch for the 23ml and 1 1/4 for the 10ml
