Mine just came in the mail. Bought some pepper balls for it. They are not cheap so only bought 10. Previously bought some T4E Premium Rubber Ball Ammo for my paintball gun.
I have two of these and I can say they have pros and cons other than the size. I have relatively large hands so the size isn't a issue for me. The mags/cylinders are kinda where I have had problems with the detents not holding paintballs. Going to reload and finding the cylinder partially empty kinda sucks but that might just be the field paint I was using at the time (G.I. field paint) the range and accuracy is pretty much what you would expect. I did however have a issue with breaks but that may again have been due to the paint being used. Reloading is pretty smooth and as a side arm it is definitely worth it at the price it's at. And I don't care what anybody says the sound it makes when it fires is simply the best.
I ordered two of them . It’s a Dirty Harry thing that I like . The beast would be intimidating to a perk when they see that big bore staring back at them .

The book that came with it says it's set at 250 FPS and that is actually a little low for most paintball fields, most of my markers run at about 280-290.
Hi guys, I'm getting issues with (pretty much systematic) barrel breaks on a fresh sparklet (7.5j version) and I'm using "Soger Sports Sapphire new Formula", paintballs I was suggested to use for my magfed m17 due to their slightly harder shell.. Anyone came across this issue? Different paintballs to try? Unless I dry fire it about 15, 20 times, I can usually get one shot off, then the second one breaks and clogs the barrel.. And obviously dry firing it until it works only leaves me with 5 descent shots 🙄

@@engineeredlifeform tbh it's a grey area I have looked on many sites and comments and all conflict each other for different reasons . @@stuart2500 No grey area at all, it's a section 5 firearm. It fails to fall under paintball classification because no paintball field would allow it to be used as it's too powerful.
@@engineeredlifeform The way I understand it a paint marker is not recognised as a firearm as long as it shoots paintballs or 'friable' ammo. Once you start shooting steel balls out of it, it becomes a firearm and is subject to power limitations.
I want one for my collection but also I am unsure if I would be able to use it at the field I go to since it's mostly hopper walk-ons (mainly I don't know what velocity they would want it at and 5 shots vs hoppers isn't ideal). Also I would want a remote line setup since I don't like the idea of the co2 cartridges (I don't play often enough and don't feel like buying a bunch of one use items that are needed for the marker to work).
I sold my TR 50 and have pre ordered this, though you got a point, I specifically use it strictly as a side arm. 5 shots vs hoppers is like playing in hard mode. Velocity wise Usually indoors require 240 fps and outdoor at 280, too tall said velocity is 230-250 so 240 is the average, probably more if you use first strikes. Also there is a a remote line adaptor for the tr-50 that also fits the tr-68
all markers like that should have orange barrels, there was a incident the other day in my state and someone was shot, not to death but a cop thought a paintball pistol was a real gun and shot the person holding it
The one who was shot. Was he or she pointing and why was the person brandishing the gun in public ? Orange paint is not the solution. What if we painted a REAL gun with orange ?
For defense useless, the HDR 50 tuned up to 20-30 joules makes a better job.16J in .68 cal. is not enough for defense. Also just 5 shots, how many you get out of one CO2?For paintball and fun I think its ok for the person who wants to spend money on it.
Overall, HDR68 should be significantly more powerful than HDR50 when maxed out, due to larger caliber (68 vs 50) and longer barrel length (6.6" vs 4.8"). Air gun power is fundamentally tied to caliber and barrel length (as well as air pressure). This could hit 200 Joules/ 150 fpe when maxed out with hpa and long barrel extension.
I have the upgraded version and the regular version and the regular version breaks every single fucking paintball. Sorry for swearing but it’s just annoying. Can’t even shoot any paintballs and I’m not talking about the upgrade at 16 I’m talking about the regular 7.5.

I'll get one, primarily for home defense since easier to get .68 pepper ball vs. if in pepper ball in .50 or .43 caliber.
