      Financial Education I am new to financial matters and feel that I could overcome some of my fears if I had a handle of the vocabulary which is common to people in your field. If I knew what the terminology means things would be a lot smoother. Do you have a video or a link that would help me? I'm also considering taking your course listed in the comments section of this video. Thanks

    Investing in the Stock Market, requires patience. Anyone who invests to make "quick money" usually get burned. Go long term! Moreover, I got burned listening to Squawk Box analysts. They were wrong, wrong, wrong many times. At times I did the opposite of what they recommended and made huge gains. Many times I think that these analysts are paid by some companies to push their stocks.

      NZ Shares that is an extremely ignorant comment, as if anyone has to conform to your opinion.

    • @evaburnz
      @evaburnz 7 років тому

      strange tone to the comment for a suggestion, I mean sure you said "try" which is suggestive but to say that the original term he used sounds gay is rather demeaning one would think.
      Personally I think it might just be a colloquial issue.
      Either or, have a good one man!

    • @evaburnz

      I'm amused that you somehow consider "moreover" to be inferior to "furthermore" or "also".
      How do you determine the validity of these terms and why do you associate the use of them with sexual orientation?

    • @evaburnz
      @evaburnz 7 років тому +1

      Your approval of a term is based on the people you know/have known?

      TB Very similar things happened to me in the crypto currency market. Every news outlet and even Warren Buffet himself said it was stupid, it was in a bubble, it was gonna fail, but I knew they were wrong. They were dead wrong, and I tripled my initial investment, so now I’m laughing at all of the doubters.

    What about investing in start up companies? For example, a new Electric Vehicle company that you think will do well. Or a new marijuna pharm company. I keep thining, what if I had invested in Tesla when it first started and the price was super low, and then selling ot 5 years later when the company grows huge.
    What tips do u have about that? Does it work? Do u recommend it? Or do you have a video on this?

    Been playing in the stock game for about 10 months. Read a few book on trend and finacial analysis. Got a nice penny from MARA, after the research, but I have lost as well.
    The question I have is with my current stocks that I have, is it better to average down when there is a flexuation in the market or sell once i see a profit and use the money to buy more shares when in goes down again?
    Thanks to the info vids btw helps with some of the unanswered questions i had from the books!

      one way to determine whether the stock is going into a long term downtrend is to see whether prices are printing below the 200 day moving average. if it is then it is on a long term downtrend.

      +Steph B. With all things in life you need a little bit of luck. You bring up an interesting point about "investing world a bit intimidating". This is a subject I want to address at some point specifically in regards to women and investing. For instance 88% of the viewers of my channel are males. This makes me sad because it should be 50/50. I would love to see a day when an equal amount of women and men are investing for themselves. I think it really comes down to making investing not intimidating.

      Johnson Miller His strategy is super cool.. Even with small starting balance I was able to make tons of money so far with his strategy, For example my starting balance was $4000 and in 1 month I made $30000. And I was able to control risks and in results I keep on generating huge profits for myself and business.

      One time someone asked Jeremy if they should buy Netflix he said he wouldn't buy it.Later it went up 20%.So you should do lots of research on the company decide for yourself.Lots of traders lose money asking others which stocks to buy.Those that don't do research, should be buying low cost index mutual funds, because if you don't research your just gambling buy asking him if it's a buy or not.Or did you do your research and i owe you an apology?

Why? Because I UNDERSTAND THE VALUE WITHIN the companies I'm putting my money into. PASSIVE INCOME: EARNING WHY YOU DO NOTHING.

    Best way is to invest monthly rigid budget to different shares (be a bit mindful and logical in which shares you invest though) and with the work of time, development and inflation you will definitely make money. People tend to see investing as speculation yet that's the big mistake.

    I just started a couple weeks under 2 months ago and am a prime example of mistakes. Bought 24 shares between aapl and fb and if I would have held I'd be up around 330 or so. But I go and decide to sell some of those to buy nflx a little after it's big rise, made some profit then the big fall. Followed the advice to hold and then when press, Disney, etc. happened got apprehensive and sold in the 160s, ouch. Did the same song and dance with Tesla and bought Home Depot on a hunch that it would rise on last earnings announcement. Lost 55 there. I was able to catch NFLX and buy back in time, but with all of the commission fees and everything ended up 400 dollars less than the 330 I would have had. Anyways, I was brand new and have learned a ton already. Would have done it soo differently now. I'm currently down by 82 dollars and holding my shares, up from 250 down. Luckily my story isn't as painful as it could be. Anyway, there's an example of what happened in 6 weeks of me trying to control things and if I would have just left things alone. Also, with my initial buys of aapl and fb I had invested much less money on fewer shares. Live and learn. Rookie mistakes.

    Everyone says it and it's true. You have to create some logical rules and stick to them. You are going to have strings of bad luck where you couldn't pick a winner if your life depended on it. Those are the times when you have to be the most disciplined. I could have reduced my losses by half at times by just sticking to my own rule. Things always turn around and it's much easier to get back on top if you aren't in such a big hole.
