Prime example is listening to BANKS!!! I personally had a bank accountant talking to me in a way as if I had no idea what I was doing... and yes, I am new to the market... but I made almost 37 percent in the market over four months! I took the criticism with a positive attitude and it makes me want to work harder or reading up on companies and do my due diligence to go in next year and show them how much more I gained compared to the indexes! So pumped!
Thank you Jeremy for this video!

#1 is short and simple "MONEY MANAGEMENT" .. you can loose 71 trades in a row !! if you risk only 1% on each trade.
    its simple math. ..
knowing what a company does .. its just fundamental trading, but there is also Technical trading as markets are moved by peoples so math can be applied to catch the group psychology. .. there is no such thing as a bad period, just the wrong direction to invest in. tue is however to invest when everyone is running away .. simple supply & demand ;)
i also trade other peoples money, but i do not gamble with it but pay Huge Interest instead .. not everyone is a bully ;)
good video anyway .. keep it up.

Robinhood is ok. It can work for people who like to jump in and out of stocks. It doesn't provide a lot of the extra features that other brokerages do. They also have a limited amount of stocks that you can buy. Not gonna work for you if you like OTC or foreign markets.
I personally use TradeKing. They have all of the features with minimal fees.

So many guys are out there making people watch their videos only to try and force their viewers to pay them money to sign up for some bogus program for a fee Your videos are better than any of those bogus programs, and I can see that you're just sincerely looking to make gains by legitimately posting great content on UA-cam.

I got the Robinhood app and took $1,000 and bought 5,262 shares of stock at .19 each. I sold it 3 days later at .35 and made $841. I took that and bought another stock at .20 and got 9,205 shares sold it at .28 and made $736. I put that into another, sold, buy again, sold, buy. In 8 months I turned $1000 into $17,765. Some trades took couple of days to turn a good profit some a few weeks. I keep rolling all profit in one stock at a time. Right now I have all $ 17,765 sitting in 1 stock. I bought 74,020 shares at .24. It dropped to .20 and has been .20 to .23 for almost a month. This is the longest stall I have had. I don’t want to sell for a loss but I can’t make money if it’s tied up. At .23 I would have a loss of 740. If I can hold for .31 I can make almost $5,200.

Thank god I have the built in leader brain in me & went against it and now loving it. Plus I have someone like you explaining & made me realize that this is me. I tell people even smart people get screwed in the stock market. It's not how smart you are but the mind set and if you're content. You can choose to gamble or control your GREED LEVEL...I think I am in the right path. Thank you Jeremy again for being our mentor. I love how you think you deserve all the success because your work ethic and how you do things are successful. Sorry my message is long. Not kissing ASS either but I see the truth. So, thank you.

Robinhood is great! I wouldn't suggest it as a platform for research, but I do all my research on other websites and from news or the financials. Then, I just use Robinhood for buying, selling, and keeping an eye on the prices of the stocks on my watchlist. I actually even got $16 in free stocks cause of a promotion they are running. 2 months in and I haven't seen any hidden fees yet, I'll update this if that changes

"Robbin' Da Hood seems like the best bet..."
Ok ok we get it go w/ robinhood
NOW what is the downside about RobinHood?
Usually if it's too good to be true well it is.

    • @Value-Investing
      @Value-Investing 7 років тому +3

The downside is that they will try to pull you into margin trading and things like that, if you do not do that you are fine. Don't be too greedy, look what happened to Jeremy in 2015.

Robin hood is not a great idea for beginners, there is a 1-5 cents slippage. For example, buy 500 shares of X company at $1.00 is the price it shows on the screen, but by the time your order gets executed is up a$1.05. now you are down $25.00. Also, there is no indicators like level 2, or candlestick. If you are a swing trader it will work, but for day trading don’t use Robinhood.

Edwin Iglesias That is why you should use limit orders, not market orders.

I always use limit orders, never had any issue with that. If you aren't trading large lots, fees will cripple you. It's $10 on Etrade just to enter and exit a position, which is nuts if you're only buying a few hundred dollars of a stock at a time. Robinhood is GREAT.

love the vids man. I'm an investor myself and love to see more people getting educated on the subject. one thing I'd love from you though is to talk more about the risks and how it is highly likely a recession is coming soon. I'd hate to see all these wonderful people lose their savings from hype!

It would be good to know what exactly to do in a recession in more detail.
If you have stocks should you sell at the first clear sign of a recession, or should you hold throughout the recession?
Does every single stock get pummelled downwards? and is it basically a free-for-all. Just buy up practically anything that will survive through the bad times? Once out of the recession everything rises again and you are rich.

I recectly started in the stockmarket, And so far i am doing pretty good. BUT i more or less know, we are bound for a resession soon. So i hope i am able to secure some of the gains before everything falls. (probably not), But i have bin thinking of going into the stockmarket for many years. But back then you had to go to the bank if you wanted to buy a stock, Now with internet its much easier.

High commission brokers are actually better, you pay twice as much commission but you get better liquidity, and hence better filling price when you enter and exit a trade, which will result in more profit, less loss.
