Liberty Reservoir 5/31/20 - smallmouth on a jerkbait and Everett

I found a great jerkbait bite mid morning, ALL smallmouth bass on this one stretch of breezy shoreline. A buddy texted while I was fishing and asked if I could come meet him at the Nic bridge to fish the rest of the day........ugh,, I left these fish and traveled north to pick up Everett and we continued the day fishing. The entire time I was thinking.........." why the hell did I leave those smallmouth?!!".........many bass caught, but not nearly exciting as the earlier fishing!
