- Working on my 2016 Indian Scout Sixty "Burt" today to take care of a few simple projects. Just wrapping up a few items before I clean the bike up for the riding season. Installing the Klock Werks Outrider Radiator Guard and also the Arles Ness 10 Gauge Chrome Master Cylinder Covers for both the Front & Rear brakes. Rather easy jobs but I thought that I'd take ya'll along for the work in the garage.

Since you are sort of discussing brakes, I highly recommend putting in Speed Bleeder bleed screws next time you need to bleed or flush the brakes. They are US made and work great. Proper bleeding becomes a one man job. Heck they are only $7.

Nice video. i agree the cost for stone guard is insane. I went with a mudflap made specifically for the scout. Half the price and 5 min. install. 5000 mi. later - radiator looks like the day I brought bike home. If you're interested, torque on both master cylinder covers is 13 in. lbs. Love the videos.

I did mine GNT (good'n tight) LOL. I am sure the service manual had the torque for the covers in there somewhere! ;-)
It does drive me nuts how indian constantly switches between in/lbs and ft/lbs in the manual. I just use nm anymore. Thanks for watching!

They make a radiator fin comb for straightening and get them all back uniform
LOL I didn't realize that. I just used what I had around to get the fins somewhat straight so the air could flow. With the mesh guard on it you can't really see the radiator fins anymore. Thanks for watching, much appreciated.

Ever thought about floorboards and a aeromach heel toe shifter?
I like pegs with forward controls personally. My 2006 Yamana XV1900 Roadliner S has floorboards and I could never get used to it. Aeromach does make some excellent parts. Thanks for watching, Cheers!
