Why is this not blowing up more???! Seriously, people need to share this channel. Jaymes should have far more than 25K subscribers. The Drag Herstory series alone is reason enough! Wonderful!!
It's sad. This generation of the LGBTQ+ needs to know our Herstory.
yaaássss lady bunny cheering on Willie ninja
pika23 I'm still learning and I had no idea that was Lady Bun. Dat wig do.
literally my favorite series on youtube. I love learning about our history and though i already knew alot about the ballroom scene. i always light up hearing about it or watcing it. literally made my day jaymes. you are a gift to us all!!!!
Kristopher-Damien White I think Miss Jaymes should get more recognition for teaching the new generation of the legendary children....I'm female and a hag and it saddens me that many LGBT folks in their early THIRTIES does not know more than 1% of her story. I remember even turning on my male gay friends onto John Waters, beginning with "Female Trouble". I'm amazed and proud of how much knowledge I have about the culture of my adopted "family".
This series is so important! Thank you!!
Preach & Teach, Hunty! You continue to impress with your research & devotion to Drag Herstory! Miss Mansfield, you are a TREASURE (& a sparkly one at that)!
I had a horrible evening until I saw your video. Thank you so much for bringing me some joy tonight.
Hi
My wife and I watch an episode of this every morning and we wish there were more!!! THIS IS AMAZING!
This series is wonderful and I thank you so much for doing it. I think it's really important (especially) for younger fans to know about the history of drag and you're helping the ones (like me) that don't have enough time to make all the research themselves find a point to start at. Also, you're a joy to watch! Thank you
oh shit there's only three comments
LOVE YOU JAYMES
i was wondering if maybe.. you could do a video showcasing some of the looks you would have worn/created if you were still on the show?
(i mostly just want to see what your Madonna look would have been)
Not to worry. Jaymes uploads her videos quite late (about 11 p.m. Milwaukee time). Don't know when she sleeps! (Or how she keeps her skin looking so good...)
TheMotherConfesser if you watch Drag HerStory ep 8 you'll see one of my Madonna costumes. It was Breathless Mahoney when she sings More, I had four Madonna looks incase of mixup
Jaymes Mansfield
AH okay, I read that in your voice!!
I'll go back, I've been neglecting my duties as a fan cx
your character and the order you place drag herstory is invaluable. thank you so much for these videos. I hope you know there's a lot of people who fell in love with you in RPDR.
you're such a doll 🎀
I really began crying when you mentioned the Haus of Xtravaganza! I have to much respect for the legendary children and for the ballroom scene. Thank you, Jaymes, for educating us on the Herstory that we should all learn! ❤️
Jaymes - This is a great informative video! Nina had a video on her channel saying that you both are sharing a booth at Drag Con. Wish I could be there to see you both! Have fun.
Loved this one! Thanks Jaymes!!!
I love this series! It brings me so much joy to watch these videos. Keep them coming Jaymes! 😚
You're so well spoken, thanks for bringing this her story to light to the new generations! Love you
Aaaand now I'm obsessed with Kevin Aviance. Thank you, thank you, thank you. 🙏💘
Im so glad you do these videos!
This was extremely inspiring and great to see. I've never watched your herstory videos, so I have some work to do, but I can't wait ❤️❤️ p.s. Show us what you were gonna do on drag race with the challenges!!
Hiii mama Jaymes
I actually learned a lot thanks to you and your videos ❤️
Send you lots of loovee and cheese smelling hugs
Keep it going qween! 👑
Class has started. Live it! Appreciate it!
Love your Series!
I'd love it if you'd do a video highlighting Nelson Sullivan. I feel like not enough of the younger gays know about this very important documentarian. He's mentioned when the club kid scene is brought up, but not highlighted as someone of importance in the era.
yes! and many of his videos are on youtube (user name: 5ninthavenueproject) -- !! :)
This series is amazing! And you were so lovely on Drag Race. Wishing success to all you do.
I absolutely love this series. It's bringing a ton of information to people who may only know drag through Drag Race. Thank you, Jaymes!
As someone who is obsessed with the ballroom scene, I loved the herstory behind it. I feel many entertainers don't know where drag started, and this is a beautiful lesson to introduce the kittens to the start of drag!! Thank you Jaymes, Love you.
Thank you so much for this and the rest of your herstory videos! As more people watch drag this provides the background and launch point to research the roots and fabulousness of those who came before to shape what we see today
Love this series! Thank you so much for putting this out into the community. It's important we know out herstory
Butch Queen???? AS IF!! LOL, your snatchedness is perfection.
Ok so i knew when you were on drag race that you might have some knowledge but this great. You’re excellent and i appreciate this more than you know! I wish your make up was this on point and teaching this legacy of herstory to the younger ones is amazing. I’m not even that old 27 and it’s like damn so many people in their 20s and younger don’t know those that tread the path before!
Herstory is fantastic! Great job! Thank you.
Thanxx again Jaymes! This video gave me everything and more. It answered all of my questions! Your videos are soooo very good, they help me forget about my stress and truly enjoy something! Thank you for this.😊😘😘
The background music makes me so sad because of the final scene of Paris is Burning. Great video as always♥
DAMN! That's a PRETTY face you got there. ;-)
Love this series! Much love to you, Jaymes!
Thank you for this video! It's so good. Also, your makeup and hair look amazing! xoxo

I LOVE YOU! i love this series and your persona is so sweet and accessible, love it.
Your vids are so essential, love you sis!
I just adore you Jaymes Mansfield
Thank you so much for the herstory, Miss Mansfield, it's so important what you are doing! I was wondering (maybe you have??) as an actress myself ( i worked with alexis arquette in "down and out in bev hills") i'm curious if you've talked about the amazing herstory of Elizabethan drag queens, who performed on stage when women couldn't? Their whole culture was so fascinating, all of the really specific and expected movements and poses they had to learn, and how their community was totally shaken when it became legal for women to do women's parts. Love u! ps the eyebrows rock
You light up my day 😍
Sending you much love from Mexico.
I adore this series. thank you Jaymes ♡♡♡♡
Great Episode...I love this series you have. x
Oooh I've been waiting for this episode!
LOVE this series!!!! Thank you so much!!! Really want to learn more about the history of the ballroom scene; back to the 1920s in Berlin? Sounds fascinating!!!

Thank you Jaymes. Hugs!
This really is an amazing series, my dear!!
Just leaving my obligatory comment in hopes of helping boost your video! 🌹🌹
Amazing series! Love it
Drink every time jaymes does that thing with his hands, ya know?
Only if you want to get wasted! It used to annoy me (her sequel never bothered me) but now I find the hand waving kinda adorable.
Gurl, please, that's some alcohol poisoning right there lmao!!!!!
Oh how I love you darling. Hopefully some small queen will make videos like Drag Herstory that feature you.
This small queen has already been inspired to do an "Idol Worship" prefaced movie night at their local library. I just need to get the OK from Miss Jaymes to use her videos as an intro to the movies. But don't you worry, I will get permission and give all the credit where it is certainly due.
I 💖 my UA-cam drag mawma!
Just waiting for the moment I run into you in Milwaukee. Its gonna be the best day of my life😩💙💙💙

Jaymes, I love these. Can you please stop stretching the old clips out to widescreen? It makes it harder to really appreciate them. No-one's going to care about some black bars our coloured space either side of the image. xx
a lot of people don't know that Kevin Aviance didn't create Din Daa Daa.
