Thanks for posting this story! Yes, even on the microscopic levels, our own bodies are weaponized to deal with microscopic invaders. This is both creepy and cool. 😂 As someone who grew up with a weak immune system, I've always been interested in our little defenders and wished mine were better at their jobs.
It logically has to be a very weak virus or be based on a previously used one if the immune system does so well against it. The human immune system doesn't actually have a good history of dealing with completely new viruses we haven't had the chance to build an immune system against. Some resistance sure, but we take annual shots for a reason.
@ike1820 neither 😭😅 there just aren't normally sequels to this, and they had other responsibilities they had to work on/opportunities they needed to go for.
Do you mean every possible organic pathogen? I think it’s a matter of some debate whether viruses even qualify as “organic”. They aren’t cellular organisms, after all.

well it is unclear how pathogens came to be, the ones here may be an anomaly and as such didn't exist in a fashion that harms the alien creatures my personal belief on how viruses came to be was that a cell mutated to produce a host-dependant replicating protein which over time developed to have sections of DNA/RNA to print itself, then after that cell exploded by producing the protein, the now virus went on to infect other cells and over time created the viruses we know today
It’s also possible that predators of microscopic organisms were far more successful on their worlds, making it so there’s less of a need for an immune system.
This channel does a good job of curating what stories they read, but more importantly, their voice actors are so good that even the stories I am not particularly fond of are engaging and a good listen.
"Fantastic Voyage" meets "Independence Day"..... Nice and dark, I love it !! 👍👌❤....... SPOILER NEXT...... white blood cells dissolved the soldiers. Yes, tentacles, i recently learned white blood cells are like octopus,.
I really like how you narrate the stories yourself instead of what some other creators who do these stories do where they have a text to speech program read the stories.
Humans: I see you've met neutrophils, the cute kind policemen of our bodies. Allow us to introduce Killer T-Cells and Macrophages next. Sometimes our cells get a bit naughty and start splitting faster than they should. We have a special cell for these little buggers too. XD Fun fact, aliens: Macrophages also serve as guardians and patient caretakers of immature red blood cells in bone marrow. Like big mighty mamas. Aren't they cool?
It would have been funny if because of its muscle disingrating properties, with it also not fully destroing the mucle, instead caused rapid mucle build up as the body fixed the damage. Workout in a syringe. Also, if the alien had targeted the heart before, that means he would have targeted muscles before as the heart is a muscle.

I'm so absolutely happy to be engaged to the author of this, Nathan Phillips 💜 sadly there won't be a sequel written by them, but this is great!
By any chance the author either just got tired of writing or did he die?

By the emperor of mankind and by the plague father nurgle we will show xeno the real plague and what its cause
I mean I get what he's saying but ofc bloods are alive😂😂
