Awesome video! Super duper helpful!

Aww thank you!! I hope I can meet you too some day! ❤️
So my grandma has a cattle horse that she said I can try on barrels at home and I’ll be there from memorial day to the end of August. I wanna get him used to the barrels but I don’t know if he knows body movement or stuff like that because I haven’t ridden him yet and I won’t be able to until after memorial day weekend.
Do you think you can make a video to help me out?
Hey, do you know if not using split reigns gives you some kind of disadvantage when it comes to barrel racing?
using closed reins is the best option with the speed:)
What kind of bit and saddle do you use
This is what I use:) ua-cam.com/video/UBZJsSrKPOY/v-deo.html
I'm hoping to turn my 26 year old into a barrel racer lmao
hey, you told me to comment on one of your videos on how to start barrel ridding, and you would tag me a video. i greatly appreciate it!
For sure!!:)

I have a question. So my horse can do a phenomenal run but he has a hard time stoping. I have a curb bit at the moment. Is there any other bit you would recommend?
What bit are you using right now? Also here’s a video that will help you teach your horse to stop:)
ua-cam.com/video/GVp41-0nAzo/v-deo.html
@@barrelracingtraininghelp I have a bit with a curb I’m it
@@tannermaloy4307 what’s the name? That could be a lot of bits:)
So I just got this new horse is just da high headed throws his head a bit and the owners said he needs tie down but my dad is totally against a tie down what’s your opinion on them
There’s a time and place for them for sure. I have one on my young horse right now but I won’t keep it on him permanently. Just depends on the horse and what they need. Have you made sure there was no soreness or made sure your horses teeth have been floated recently?
@@barrelracingtraininghelp about to do that and he is young and just geting super broke
@@barrelracingtraininghelp changed the bit it helped a ton the owner just told me he needs one bc he once smashed her nose and the bit I got told to use was a big shank
He said they r a bad habit
I live in Idaho! (In the description the location is idaho) I'm moving this year tho
Hey! I actually have a barrel racing clinic coming up in Idaho and would love to have you! The Filer, Idaho clinic is happening on April 15th from 8am-5pm. The cost is 400 for the day. Any age or level of rider is welcome.
It will be a day full of barrel racing instruction, Q&A time and run reviews.
I’ll also include my website that has more details too.
Let me know if you have any other questions or want to reserve your spot 😊 My number is on the website to text if you want to contact me that way too.

@@barrelracingtraininghelp Oh my gosh! I would love to I really wanna go but I might not be able to because we aren't really in the position to afford that right now but if I can come up with the money then I would love too
@@crazy.cantering.cowgirl If you under 18 I do know if a place that does horse learning grants that you can apply for. You don’t have to pay back the money on it is how they work it:)
@@barrelracingtraininghelp Oh that's amazing! That would be awsome! Is it still in idaho?
@@crazy.cantering.cowgirl Yes still in Idaho. You would be getting the grant to come to my clinic :) Here is there website: www.rodeokids.com/scholarships
What breed is your horse? And type of color.
He’s a grey Quarter horse:)
Dose it matter what kind of horse can you still do barrels on them
Quarter or thorough breads are the best choice for barrel racing:)
And Arabians!
I had a friend who was going to barrel race his belgiun horse and shire horses, but they ended up having to get rid of all of them :(
