Just for anyone that needs to know :) You don’t need to have a horse with papers to have a good horse. Before you buy them make sure they are built and are capable of what you want to do. My mare is the fastest most athletic horse I’ve ever ridden and she is grade (doesn’t have papers). Before we bought her we made sure she had a good build, good feet, a good mindset, and speed. Papers are great and all but they don’t define a good horse.
Many irresponsible breeders will also breed for really impressive looking bloodlines with no actual regard for the health of the foal, you can find a really great, healthy animal athlete out of grade stock just as easily as you can find an over-bred, cracked out horse with a weak constitution because people were too concerned with his papers to realize they had ruined the animal in the process! Knowing what to look for in a horse will take you farther than a pedigree ever will
Hi from a Ranch Dressn Plus Size gal!!! Health and feelin good is indeed the most important! I am now in my 30s and not the rider I once was 100% due to weight and fitness. I am on the 1st diet of my life and will be treating myself to new Ranch Dress'n outfits when my currents get too big (fingers crossed)!!!
You helped me gain my confidence and just have fun and smile while you ride because I got blessed with a amazing horse. He may not be the faster but he holds a special place inside my heart ❤ and helped me relize that detail about my horse Thank you. God bless
Thank you for being so positive, missed seeing that big beautiful boy! I have a similar neck injury, and getting on horses like Flobot can make you leery. My last horse was much like him, Thank you fir all you do!
Thank you so much for making this with Flobot! I have a horse that’s the SAME way and he gets so much anxiety. The tips are helpful! He gets anxious even when I don’t work him on the patter for a couple weeks.
Great video and wonderful to hear how you don’t overrun the horse again and again so when it comes to the race he isn’t anxious about how many times he has to run.. thanks for the inspiration and sharing your knowledge! 😊
ty for this ive broken alot of bones off of horse so ive been taking lessons and are starting to get my confidences in center but its still gonna take abit till im able to gallop for team roping
Thank you! I'm back to barrel racing after 40 years, and have gelding we raised, that is more cow bred than race bred. I'm training him, with great tips from my sister Robin Kuhnhein who trains and runs great, fast horses, she likes the Dash to Cash bred, with the Frenchmans Guy type.... Oh I have a question... what happened to the horse that had the same name as Baby Flo that you found at the kill pen? I have been curious.
Can we have more of these type videos? I don’t run barrels with my horse but I like tips from all disciplines, especially things to get out of my own way. And yay you mentioned not only the fitness of the horse but also the rider and how it affects the horse. So important. Thanks. 🐎
Thank you for speaking about the advantage of being gifted amazing pedigree. No one admits that even when it is often true. I appreciate your gratitude as well. And fitness for rider and horse. Wow! I’ll follow your channel. Excellent video!
GIRL⚠️⚠️⚠️I love this an the fact I can comment again! Now I can finally ask you how do I get out of this funk I’m in I lost my sister a couple year’s ago an all we did was ride together an it’s been so hard to get back into competition again an I lost my main ride last winter to a freak accident that caused him brain damage an I had to put him down it’s been so hard I don’t know where to start I haven’t truly rode in about a year or more an I used to ride every day without skipping a beat now all I think about is rodeo but it’s like it’s so far from my grasp an I’ll never get ahold of it again FALLON PLEASE HELP ME🙃
thank you for for sharing, you truly are an inspiration , from the treatment and care you give your animals to taking care of yourself and others around you!
I just wanted to say when I seen the Facebook post with codi in 2nd I got the goosies and almost cried....yaaaay Codi get it gurl....watching your journey is awesome ❤
I love all your videos you have really given me the confidence I need as a rider. I do have a to say tho I would check his back left leg he seems a little off
I am 43 and really getting into riding now. I have two little boys and have a demanding job. I get a lot of anxiety with riding, always worried about what might go wrong. As a parent and as a top competitive rider, how do you get over that anxiety ? Or do you ever have that anxiety ?
Hey Fallon I absolutely love your videos. They are soo awesome! I am a newer rider but I been rider for a while do you kinda understand. I love riding horses but being above the ground kind of scared me. Do have any advice for me. Also do you have a discount code for ranch dressin?
Im an english rider, but im riding a massive horse with a huge stride and i get really anxious about the “speed” (shes not actually even that fast it just feels faster)
I'm pretty impressed at you're choice of words in descripting what it takes to compete at your level. Good job!
This is super helpful cause my boy acts just like Flobot. He’s my step up and it’s a whole new game for me
Same gwrolie

Hows it going??
I love that he is channeling his innermost walking horse gait at times lol I love him. So fast at the end there I was like WOW.
You saw that, too?
Yes. Some quarter horses will do that. It's kind of rare but it happens. I have Tennessee walking horses
You helped me gain my confidence and just have fun and smile while you ride because I got blessed with a amazing horse. He may not be the faster but he holds a special place inside my heart ❤ and helped me relize that detail about my horse

Hi!! I was there at the Carson rode!! In Iowa
Hello! I love you guys so much
my horse bucks when i canter or run
I love boy boy.❤
Hi Fallon!
My girl KNOWS she don’t even know me but when this vid came out I literally just said an hour before “I need to overcome this fear of going fast”
hi
Thank u for this! I’ve been loping the pattern for months and I’m so scared to run it!
Hi Fallon👋
You r the best
that horsey may be walk trot cantor but he is galloping in his head, what a cutey he us so fine
Is it just me or does anyone else love that she’s wearing a helmet bc Ik a lot of barrel racers who tell me that there so advanced the don’t need one…
Literally so many kids at my barn just jump on twice a week and run the barrels 15 times and then wonder why their horse hates doing the patterns!
I have a running breed horse lol
