This is an awe-inspiring story that is very timely and relevant to the world we live in today. It is an enduring legacy and a testament that everyone is interconnected regardless of our skin color, religion and ethnic backgrounds share a space which can cause ripple effects for every actions we make, whether to cause harm or fix a broken problem. It proves that goodness always truimp over evil no matter how long the battles are. Still keep believing in humanities goodness! Kudos guys!!! Heroes like you surely has a place already in Paradise ❤.
Your a true hero man. You have risked so much to achieve this I am an ocean sailor and spend significant time trying to educate people about marine comservation
1989/90/91 and Wellington New Zealand. The Vietnamese community, mostly boat people, refugees, and meeting many in our Taxi Industry-one day a picnic invitation at a Queen Elizabeth Park north of Wellington. Quite a few men, walked a net our into the ocean, and walked it back to shore. Just about everything was eaten. Effective.
I'm a Vietnamese-American, and I do feel partially responsible, having consumed cuttlefish in the past [fried squid]. Nowadays, I only consume imitation meats [crab, lobster, etc.] due to prices.
With all due respect, Nothing eternal this world anyway. Every earth-bound trying hard to make ends met, one way or another justbefore we all dies... Wish everyone succeed in life.
"Nothing eternal (in) this world anyway."... That does not mean we should all stand by and watch hundreds of species die out every day from overfishing, pollution and from just plain GREED! With an attitude like that, it won't take long at all. I spent a lot of years in Alaska; watched how the Pacific Pollock stock dwindled down to nearly nothing. Used to see three-footers; now, you're lucky to catch a two-footer. Same with King Crab, same with shrimp; nobody said a word when fishermen pulled their pots full of shrimp with hundreds of eggs on them.....until, one day, the pots were nearly empty! This goes on daily at thousands of location around the world. Disgusting!
It is the inept cambodian goverment to blame. They fail to protect 200 mile EEZ of the Thailand Gulf of Cambodia. If there are disputes then an agreement beween Thai,Vietnam and Cambodia must be done ..All three belong to ASEAN....Why Cambodian Goverment don't bring it up to force a negotiation among countries ? Then there is depletion of sea resources, now this is a problem of all developing countries, they, all 3, are guilty of neglect..A request to UN to help the overfishing and aquaculture skills to combat ecological destruction is long overdue.
