I bought one of these a couple years ago and love it. I’m and old stick guy but still learning on the flux core wire and I haven’t tried the MIG yet. Nice informative video; thanks!
I would reccomend getting some .035 or .045 outershield71m for your out of position welds, it uses your existing tri mix gas but gives you much better control over the deeper penetrating welds than 7018 , I run mine at 25 and 300 or 24 and 270, passed my all position plate tests at those numbers btw. Either way good video man.
Yes they do make several larger machines. Quieter idk. Honestly it's louder on video than it is in person, I don't even really notice the fan while working. Thanks for watching and commenting.
@@WoodNMetalWorkshop what about the TIG on both? I'm trying to buy a single machine to start out my company and want to have versatility on all of them, though Mig is my last concern
@@jonathangarzon2798 you have to buy a separate adapter to use a foot pedal with the 210, not sure about the esab. My 210 has been a great machine and held up to a lot of abuse
So the newer ones are taking dumps left and right. Had mine a year and the mother board is malfunctioning. Talked my rep at Airgas and he says he gets many of them for warranty.
Wood-N-Metal Workshop ` yeah if u aint got a need for 6010 then it dont matter, I researched welders for months b4 I bough my esab fabricator 252i, for the price you cant find a better deal, 300 amps 100% duty cycle at 150 amps only 66lbs so semi portable
Vera Carswell Lincoln is American made and the main reason I️ bought this welder. There will always be something greater than the piece of equipment you own, but the warranty and local welding shop is a full service shop for Lincoln you can’t beat it. Really depends on your use. Most people run 6011 now anyways, I’ve ran only a handful of 6010.
I hear it all the time..."Will it run 6010?" WHO CARES!!! I purchase a mig welder for a MIG WELDER! If it will arc weld too, so be it, but I would never use it, because I would just install flux core wire. 6010 sucks anyway. Use a ...get this......... 7018 rod and never look back. Yeah,...we're all pipe fitters in the drive way. Looks like a great machine! That's why the Harbor Freight Vulcan OmniPro 220 copied it!!! Its also an incredible machine!!! Miller can piss off. That company has forgotten about the home fabricator/hobbyist. The prices of Miller anything is in the stratosphere.
Actually this welder is assembled in MEXICO with IMPORTED CHINESE PARTS. Who cares where it built, as long as its built right??? Its built right and designed in the GREAT U.S.A.!!! Just like big screen tv's, cell phones, the computer you and I watch and comment about youtube videos with, etc, etc. Buick's Envision SUV is made in CHINA. So much for "made in the U.S.A."

@Austin Carlson because you don't have to buy another bottle, that's what makes it cheaper.
@13:20. He starts talking about pros & cons good & bad at 13:20.
Got another cup of coffee to get ready for the TIG option explained. Never touched on it ? Is there a part 2 ?
I don't have the tig set up for this unit
Do they have a larger one that is quieter?

@@WoodNMetalWorkshop how does this compare to the esabe rebel 205ci?

I have one and for continuous welding and it sucks for auto sheet metal.
hey ross, im about to buy one, why does it suck for auto sheet metal?
Yeah Ross why I'm about to get one
We can read the stats about the machine online so the reading of stats wasn’t really needed
Nothing about that stick welding setting or weld shines
6:16 The TIG machine can't do stick??
I’d trade my fronius for one of these
That would be a bad trade for u
gostaria dde saber o

Shouldve bought the rebel it will run 6010 the lincoln wont
I like the rebel but it was over $500 more and I really have no need to run 6010. Thanks for watching and commenting.
