[About the bento box]
The bento box is my mom send me from Japan. If you interested in the bento box, please check Amazon Japan ( Japanese one has many choices(design, size) . need to change language setting from the menubar )

Name/ 「Wooden bento box」 or 「Wappa bento box」
Size/ Small
(The size is important to arrange your amount of food. In my husband case...he doesn’t wanna eat too much at his work. I wanna pack the side dishes tightly because he put on his backpack when he get work. We don’t the dishes wanna act up that’s why small size for him.)
How I treat the wooden box/
1. Wash (ours is urethane coating so I use soap)
2. Wipe up wet part with a towel
3. Dry naturally
( The wood don’t go well with water. When my husband can’t wash and dry naturally it at work, just wipe up in the box and bring home. ( and I treat lol )
I learn that’s better rather than wash and put it in backpack soon.)

I started watching this channel for the cute bento ideas, but it has become a form of therapy. It's hard to feel stressed out after watching these videos.

I’ve enjoyed watching it grow. My favourite part was when she reached 10k subs and made a cake to celebrate, but by the time she posted the 10k subs cake, she was up to like 50k. I thought, oh now she’s going to have to make another cake.

Seeing her daughter pop in is so cute. It reminds me of when my mom would wake up early to make my dad’s breakfast and lunch before he’d go off to work and I’d wake up and sit there watching her make it. But since we are Mexican my mom had a lot of quick and easy dishes to make. Then my dad would go off to work and we’d go back to sleep for another hour or two 💕

The white ones in the gherkins were "pearl onions". I think including them makes them more vintage or countryside style pickles, as modern pickles more often only have one ingredient. They taste good in many things, but one idea to use them is throw them in whole with sauteed mixed vegetables like cubed carrots and broccoli and lima beans (maybe substitute edamame if you don't have lima beans there?) for a light tasting side dish.
