  • COBB Front Mounted Inter-Cooler installation. The IC comes in black or raw finish. It is 20% larger than the nearest competitor. Quality product and finish. Excellent add on to the Gen2 Raptor to reduce heat soak and keep the engine from pulling timing and reduce HP.
Between the IC and the Stage 2 Map, the truck performs flawlessly and has power all through out the RPM range. It is all about the power under the curve!

Thank you very much brother! It is taking me and Kiff time to learn how to better present and using the new equipment is helping a lot. I greatly appreciate your continuous support.

Finished the install, I notice you installed the motors for the vents. My kit came with 2 rubber covers to slip into the connectors for the motors. Not having the motors installed did not cause a check engine light.

Doing this right now, the blow valve hose does suck!

I have an aftermarket ADD bumper and looking to install this FMIC. Is this compatible with the ACC relocation kit provided by them or is there another spot to place it?

Question I have, if you leave the shutter motors connected, can this work just fine with out the recommended tuner?

Does this Intercooler fit with the Baja Designs 30” behind the grille light bar that is offered on your website?

austin meyers sorry for the late reply. You cannot fit the Baja 30” behind the grill with the COBB IC.

Can't you preform the install by removing the intercooler from the bottom/underneath of the truck? is it really necessary to take apart the whole front grill?

Ed Meyer someone asked me this question earlier. Yes, we removed to better demonstrate the install. You can keep your bumper on. I found it a little easier to remove it and it was also easier to record this install and show you guys how everything works. Let me know if you have any other questions.

I just ordered my stage 2. Waiting for it to come in. Do you need to relocate the ACC or does it go back to its original position?
