Idk why you would buy a gaming laptop with 8 gigs of ram for 1k when you can find much better options for that price. The 2023 g14 4060 was just on sale for around 1k
@@noah5793 I don’t blame you. I didn’t buy this machine. But it exists. And so I thought it would be interesting to test. The only versions of it I can find now are 16GB or more which at that rate does make it a solid little laptop.

@@noah5793 entry laptops are set to 8gb by default because you save on the upfront price then add your own ram, cost cutting = cheaper product
@@noah5793 you and me both. I had to double confirm from Gigabyte to make sure this was the correct model because I too did not know why they'd ship a laptop with 8GB of RAM but here we are!
