Buttons and Cerebral Palsy

When you have cerebral palsy, you face a lot of challenges. Some of the easiest tasks for someone can be one of the hardest for someone with CP. Buttons are a pain in the neck for me, usually I avoid buying clothes with buttons but sometimes I can’t avoid it because I’m a fashionista after all. I recently bought this awesome tool called the “Button Hook” and it works great!
In high school, I avoided pants with buttons because my biggest fear was going to the bathroom and not be able to button up my pants. It’s been a long time since my high school years and now I’m more confident in the clothes I wear because I figured out that I can turn the buttons into hooks so if I want those skinny tight jeans, I’m going to get them!
