Volvo 240 Turbo Wagon returns!!

- I finally took the time to tear down the turbo motor in the warwgn. It did the 240 thing and developed an external head gasket leak. Thankfully the motor wasn't hurt at all.
This video is the aftermath of all the work, figuring out other problems, and letting the ole lady take er for a rip!

The burnout in front of the house, I wasn’t expecting her to be there with her phone out as I came down the road. I didn’t know about the giggles until editing the video lol.

Nice video with great senic views of your part of GA. Amazing how consistent the redblock Volvos are, the 93 is so similar to the earlier 240s. Looking forward to seeing future episodes with the 242 black Turbo rescue and the newly acquired 142, really like those 2 dr models.

You could hire out the War Wagon to lay down smoke screens to confuse the local constabulary like destroyers did for the fleet carriers in WWII in the Pacific! The no-nonsense blackout color scheme is most excellent. The burnouts remind me of my '77 Buick Skyhawk. For some reason you could brake torque that sucker and burn enormous amounts of nature's own rubber - even after I put the 50 series TA's on it...The two of you are truly doing God's Work in this video...
PS: If Sweden had U-Boats during the war they would have looked just like this - Sighted Porsche!! Sunk Same!!

Very nice! Very black Sabbath even though it's Sunday. You are doing wonders with those wagons. We get a clear look at that belt jungle that Volvo created. And an exhaust turbine compressor for a brick is not at all boring. Guess the automatic needs an oil cooler?
Automatic has the built in cooler so we will see how it handles. Car is slated for a manual

Those steelies go hard asf on that thing. Also what’s the exhaust setup? Want to do something similar to scotia to quiet it down.
They are some old diamond racing wheels that really need a new home. Exhaust is a 3” home brew of somesort. It was on it when we got it
@@DeanofMachines Depending on the LH version yall have it should hit 13-14 psi with just a 3 inch down pipe. That’s how mine is on LH2.2. No MBC. Just 3 inch downpipe dump.
