In Columbia, The armpit of SC, It's pretty much going to rain every afternoon most days. The humitidy rises all day and eventually the sky can't hold anymore, and it dumps it. Also you need some type of cup/ strainer. Put it directly behind the crawfish, Touch their heads with a stick, and they jump right into the strainer and BOOM, you got 'em!

There was plenty of time for it to to pass in front of the kayak as it did.

The crayfish in idaho are signal crayfish. They are bigger and slower than most other species.
Also that yellow clam is invasive, they're originally from Asia and introduced all over the US and parts of Canada. You can probably eat them if you get a whole bunch!

Im from tn and everyone I fish with call those blue gill to. I use the small ones as cut bait. I've caught a lot of big flat heads and blue cats like that especially if you cut them at an angle and get some gut still attached to the head. The lake I fish is pretty similar to this just a little muddier water. Anyway these are cool videos fun watching someone learn a new to them lake.
