Is it any better on a gamepad? WRC 8 was a step back in this regard. Refunded the game as i just couldn't get to grips with the controller implementation.
Sorry there is an error in this game. The Drones used in the WRC max out at approx 80kp/h. At one point the Yaris was driving at 124k/ph and side by side with the drone.. fail!
hey Throneful have they worked on the audio or what since WRC8 do you have any Jwrc footage yet bro i wanna see if they have proper engine note for the Fiesta
I'm slightly worried that the devs may not look to upgrade the game much in the next couple of years as codemasters will be taking on the wrc licence. Not much point in them developing a new game engine for example
The lighing true, and maybe the car models. However, the quality of the roads, the topography (rocks, etc), and the environment in general is better and more realistic than dirt rally 2.0. Especially those rocks on Monte Carlo and Argentina!
@@JohnnyVa7 god rays were added in WRC 8 and made the graphics much more realistic. Also on the 8 there were other improvements that made WRC 7 look like a PS3 game. In WRC 9 they improved the quality of roads, rocks and trees thanks to photogrammery (a very complex technique used recently in games like Red Dead Redemption II, Batteflied V and COD: MW 2019). In rally games the first to use it was Dirt 4 (first ever racing game to use it) then Dirt Rally 2.0 which has improved technology and now WRC 9). In addition all the "tracks" from WRC 8 onwards are laser scanned. And then there is the most important and evident new feature. 60 fps on consoles. Finally. On the base console it will run at 1080p60 on PS4 and I think 900p60 on One, on Switch it will have two modes a "Quality Mode" (30fps in-game and 60fps in the menus and replays) and a "Performance Mode" (60fps everywhere) we'll see if the Quality Mode will only work in Docked Mode, but I think it will be: Portable Mode 720p30 in Quality Mode and 720p60 with some less graphic detail in Performance Mode. In Docked Mode it will be 1080p30 in Quality Mode and 720p / 900p60 (I think they will use dynamic resolution) in Performance Mode. On mid-gen consoles it will run at 4K 60fps and on next-gen consoles it will basically run at 4K 60 (and 120 fps in the menus and replays) but with a "Performance Mode" that will run at 1800p 120fps (120 also in menus and replays)

Andy Au It is 2:06, most of the player don't have time to react about that tighten 2 cuz we are going really fast our eyes are all focused on the road and forgot to listen to the pacenote, so we didn't really hear that tighten 2 and it didn't text it on the screen and that makes us keep rushing forward with full speed cuz we thought he only says flat right and we are not quick enough to see how next corner look like then we hit the wall, u know what i means? nice WRC8 footage!
Nice driving mate 👍👍👍
👍 Thank you!
Ok this stage is still like in wrc 8 but still awesome never the less
How you feel the physics? In realistic terms
how can he feel them with the keyboard?
By all accounts I’ve heard it’s top notch and the jump physics are better
Great run
👍
👍👍the sound
Not ONE car in the game has it's real life sound. Major disappointment on my part

I think it's an upgrade if you come from WRC 7 (like me) but not if you already have the 8.

I play with a X360 controller, and the control is much better now.
