- In this week's episode of Fratello Talks we're taking a look at three affordable watches that punch above their weight. Nacho, Thomas, and Morgan have set their sights on sub-€500 offerings.
This is a space in which the likes of Seiko, Hamilton, and even Tissot once reigned supreme. Today, it's the battleground for many microbrands, but there are still hundreds of options available. In this episode, we'll take a look at three. Each of the guys has selected one of his favorite watches available at that price point to highlight today.
I saw the video title and all I could think was: “I hope they mention Lorier” boy was I happy when the first thing mentioned was a Neptune.
Lorier is awesome! I was lucky enough to get the Lorier Astra Cosmic Blue (limited edition) and it’s amazing!!! I love that it’s a DJ, Polerouter, Transocean mix! Such great design and fantastic execution! Their tagline hits the mark: “Vintage Spirit. Modern Craft” Kudos to Lauren & Lorenzo!
So many good choices were left out. The Bulova lunar Pilot, Seiko Land Tortoise, Timex Marlin, the Timex Q, and Orient Bambino.

I have to agree with Morgan, the G-Shock 5610 is a brilliant watch. The 'U' suffix model has a LED light where the non 'U' version has the electro luminescent light. The 'U' version also has some operational changes where the time is visible in the small upper display window in most modes that is pretty useful as well. I have both with my earlier one now discontinued being worn for my many medical appointments and surgeries over the last few years so I've bonded with that one.
Only Nacho wore a watch to go with the talk´s subject 😂
