I've noticed that the top inner liner of an X50 is removable and I'd like to wash it, but I'm not sure about temperatures etc. Any advice on this? Thanks!
@@peoplewithpixels HI avoid hot water and hang dry. If you can, try and blow the zipper track or some how help with the drying process in that area so water doesn't sit n the zipper teeth.. Overall it should not be much to worry about but there are coatings that can be effected by heat.
I just got my Action X 50 (in yellow) delivered today...I'm having trouble fitting the hip belt. I got the women's tech shoulder straps, which are amazing...just struggling with the hip belt. Do you have any tips/suggestions for women for the fit?
Hi Ian! Great video as usual! I just received my Explore V2 35l and I followed your instructions on how to fit it to the best. However, I can't find the magnetic compression strap you are mentioning neither on the pack nor on Shimoda website as an accessory.
It’s a shame that Shimoda official website doesn’t ship to Canada, and I cant get those women backpack straps if I’m purchasing from a local retailer :(
Sorry, but free cost money for someone. We do not ship to Canada as we had numerous issues with inconsistent duties and inturn compliants from Canadian customers about the import fees. We used to ship to Canada direct but stopped as the random import fees were to extreme. Ian
As a fellow Canadian, I feel ya! I had to ship it to an Amerifriend and have it brought back. Otherwise, I think the best way to get your hands on Shimoda gear here is through a company like Vistek.
@@ShimodaDesigns thank you for your help :) i love this bag . I hope there will be more colors in the future, and it would be great if there is a camouflage style~🥰
Hi, the basics of the fit will be the same. An exception being the dual sternum straps which you can learn more about in this product video: ua-cam.com/video/7Lg1W7qk5g8/v-deo.html
Great video....thank you 👏!
DAMNIT IAN! You'r'e vids have made me a fan! Now I MUST HAVE an Explorer v2 30 for my Italy trip next month ;-)
haha, glad to hear it. Enjoy Italy.
One thing I failed to mention is that the compression straps on the belt are only found on our bigger X50 and X70 packs.

Hi, email ian@shimodadesigns.com with the exact issue. More detail is needed. Thanks

Hi, the waist belt compression straps are on the bigger packs (Action X50, X70) where stability is a bigger issue. Thanks for picking up a pack.

@@ShimodaDesigns Thanks. Possible to exchange the current straps for the women’s ones? Or are the women’s straps available at an extra cost?
