I played Hell Let Loose for the first time yesterday and the atmosphere, sound design and graphics are far superior. I’m hoping a graphics update will help enlisted feel more like WW2. And I still couldn’t help but notice how impactful the cannons felt on HLL tanks, when I fire an enlisted cannon, the sound is not nearly as jarring. I don’t know how HLL does it, but enlisted needs it.
wow, i played it for the first time too yesterday and the atmosphere is much better, thats true. sadly the gameplay is....in theory better but in practice it doesnt work that well. i noticed if enlisted became 25% more similar to HLL, it would be the best ww2 game in the world. it actually has more good features, even the beginner friendliness is much better (despite sucking in enlisted), bcause hll has no beginner friendliness at all. also the graphics require some insanely good gpu, ill get a new one in december, until then im gonna pleb around on mid graphics with 65 fps 😭😂
@@paradivision1362 65 fps! Haha I was playing it yesterday on my 2013 Xbox One which shouldn’t even be possible because it’s Series X only. I was playing using cloud gaming and got maybe 30 frames. In fact, all the controls were delayed by about a third of a second so infantry combat was out of the picture which was why I had to stick to tanks which was more forgiving. I only knew what I was doing because a friend helped me but I still had no idea what everything on the map was. I probably didn’t get a good idea of HLL because of the delay but I think I would still enjoy enlisted more even if I were playing HLL in real time rather than being a time traveller.
@@DasMonke oh yes. i personally am trying to play only tanks, since using those competently is insanely strong & fun, sadly they always require a competent team mate which isnt often the case, even playing with groups most only want to be infantry.
@@paradivision1362I feel like enlisted took some inspiration from HLL soldier animations it would be soooo much better. He’ll let loose does a great job with small details like crouch running and holding your bolt action rifle with one hand when sprinting. Tiny details like that make the immersion so much better
I have HLL and I personally disagree. I have waaay more fun on enlisted & it is absolutely Free! The gameplay and attention to detail is top notch. HLL is a great game but it's not for everyone especially for people who don't have a lot of time. It's just a running to your death simulator in my opinion it's just not fun, I also can't see the enemies to save my life lol 😂. I have to sit so close to the TV to see anything. Enlisted has great gameplay, destruction, gore, beautiful graphics. Almost all theatre's of war, the bots are a lot of fun and smart enough to not make it boring or too easy. I know everyone has their own preferences 😊
Nice review! Waiting to set up my 9-man rifleman squads for the Allies to unleash the power of the T20 Early Rifle. Finally the Type Hei Automatic Rifle will see some competition.
Tanks need recoil animation, as in the tank should rock back when firing and soldiers in front of the tank need to be shocked for a few seconds with slight ear ringing sound. Similar to the squad suppression system. Also ai should run for cover when being shot at/ take cover when possible.
very good idea! would look nice and improve the atmosphere. though the sound shock would ensure no one defends tanks from close up, so maybe for gameplay reasons jsut the visual effect of the cannon is optimal.
Seems like apcs handle better now, I was driving around in my Studebaker today and it felt like I was zooming! It actually feels like you’re driving in a war zone now instead of going to church with your grandparents on Sunday
Could be interesting. I want to say make it similar to squad where you have an hq and u need to make your own fobs, but sadly people r so utterly stupid in this game that it would result in random squads spread around the map. It's hard to say, it's basically up to map design so Grey zones don't have angles on objectives
They really need to make it so all vehicles can use all squads. The 76 Jumbo is useless because you can't take it and the M26 Pershing. Same with the Chi-To, you can't take it and the ho ri production.
Now that the Jumbo has the 76, I will have to play the Tiger 2. It nearly makes playing the Panther or anything less than, useless. We shall see how it goes!
im advocating for br3/4 as its own queue. i dont know, since everyone involved with DF doesnt understand the problem and they dont listen to anyone outside of their echo chamber, so it might take forever. thats the biggst problem the game has atm

6:40 These numbers are overstated, only small part of the T-34-57 have 99mm armor, rest is the same as in other T-34, 45mm.
May be it is the T-34-57(1943) that had better armor?

Solid update the graphics are the best thing to come from it and I’m excited for the event rocket radio operators.

We need to fix greyzone camping! We need to cover the greyzone wall with either terrain or facades.

Especially with tanks. It's annoying when they camp in the grey zones and you can't do anything to destroy it.
Remove greyzone but rally point is still restricted.
Or just make it so u have a min to reach the feont lines for your shot for failure

BR 3 should be its own tier, 4-5 and 1-2 are fine. Vehicle squads should be able to use any vehicle, not artificially limited.
