    So, is the power from solar enough to power all the home appliances for a reasonable period of time? I have not been to a place where solar power is used, sorry.

      Yes if you get 3kva upwards especially off-grid system you can power a lot of the home appliances except geysers, kettle, microwave and stove. Your situation will determine which system works for you.

    people stay away from those cheap china inverters. i bought myself a must 3kva and am very disappointed. the fans are very noisy and they almost run everytime the inverter is on. i literally have to switch the inverter at night coz i cant bear the noise levels
