It probably sounds flat because you haven’t turned the mic reverb on. Press the Bass boost and the volume up simultaneously and it’ll turn on. Reverb surely gives life to your mic.

You can use wireless mics. Just make sure the receiver has a 1/4" jack. Plug the receiver into the mic port on the back. Simple to use it for karaoke. Just use your phone, tablet or PC to stream music from youtube. Just search youtube for your song title followed by the word "karaoke". Enjoy!!

The " baffles" are technically considered passive subs or sub ports. The slots for tablet and or phone. Question: is the USB only for charging or does it read mp3s from a USB thumb drive?

@hellenismosadventure I think it's kinda flat sound because jbl party box 100 has no equaliser. It's just the mic echo you can adjust. But I saw 1 video about the karaoke test, he used jbl party box microphone 100, and it really sounds good

I find it really funny how people review this speaker as something it’s not! I purchased this speaker from jbl. The sound quality sucks. The only thing I will give positive review on is that it is wireless. This shit is all a lie on how loud these are. They are somewhat loud maybe for some people that don’t know any better. But they are not bass thumping loud. They are muffled with no crisp highs. This is the second Bluetooth speaker I purchased from reading reviews. The first on I purchased was a awia exos9 and it too sucked for sound quality.
You cannot call a stereo karaoke system which can only have you mic thourgh only one of the speakers, perfect. You cannot call it perfect singing with no echo. The system definitely needs a sound mixer. Not perfect for karaoke by a long shot. When making a review, be it paid or otherwise, have some negatives thrown in there for the sake of objectivity.
