Sometimes is actually a good idea to do it due to a mechanic in the game. You can spot a DD with it. You cant spot it directly (as WG have banned it) , howeve if the DD is stupid eanugh to leave his AA on , you see the AA flashes and you know where he is. Its like watching AA from smoke. Try , it works all the time.
I'm either doing it to spot (like the person above me stated it) or just because I think it's funny af, seeing those bombs fall on enemy bbs or cruisers.
Like seriously. 5km brawl and dropping depth charge at each other. Just why. Could be use on other duty like killing subs or even lure fighter away ( if time right fighter will follow that aircraft and not just one but the entire squadron will follow and begone )
Played a rank game today the whole team went for A and let the enemy just walk down through B-C. So effectively the game was over before the first shots went out. Fun times.
BB Cmdrs: "That sub is right beside me and submerged. Open fire with the deck guns!" Also BB Cmdrs: "Deploy the depth charges on that surface ship!" I'm not *saying* BBs are the class that attracts the crayon eaters....but.....
I mean, it's EXTREMELY counter-intuitive that depth charges DON'T work on surface vessels. It's a giant pressure bomb, it should cause damage to anything in the blast radius. I don't know why Wargaming thinks it shouldn't.
Why you should use your depth charges on surface ships: if they didn't disable AA then you can see their position, and they might also use consumables if they aren't paying attention.
WG's development team should be put on a submarine and have a few depth charges dropped right on top of them... maybe the experience will inspire them to reconsider 10% damage for a perfect strike.
Thinking man action game.... more like oonga boonga shoot bungu "X - cannot hit the target " is too difficult mechanic to understand, no wonder epicenter had to go
i want to side with the bb player and say that was angry shooting. Especially when a sub pop at 2 meters and unload every torp he has " JuSt DoDGe!!1!!" I often shoot even their carcass. plus tier X subs are basically immune to deep charges.
It's either one of these - Submarine gets blapped by shells and Depth Charges instantly, making it the Top Loser on the Scoreboard - Submarine withstands shells and DC's like its build to withstand Supernovae's and Death Star Laser's
I don’t know what it is but the depth charges just hate Flamu in particular. Like every other time i get hit with those bastards I’ll be no where near them and get hit with 5K, or if I use them I’ll dev strike the sub with like 8 different hits.
GK indeed used his depth charge, and there is no other target for him to shoot, it is not surprising he sent everything he got for that sub to show his angry. Is these clip shows GK is a bad player? No! it only shows how arrogant Flamu is.
I think it was simply out of shear frustration of not being able to do anything against them. The whole approach to submarines is still wrong and damaging as a whole to this game. You are either sitting awaiting your airdrops to come of call down while still being detected, with submarine not having any active detection and not at periscope depth. Passive detection would be restricted to the submarine itself not be known to the entire enemy team. I get that WG are trying to seek a balance but ... when will they realise they can't and that like CV's are a game breaker. Probably never hence why we have bans or limits in CB, Ranked and KOTS and I guess Super Ships so rather than have balance they will be restricted by numbers. Player base will be like they are now, you load in hoping for the best, see the CV numbers in queue and be like spams the leave battle as quickly as you can!
I do that for the AA indication asto where the smoked up player is but yeah I agree, more than half of the players are too dumb to understand depth charges is not Airstrike.
And let's not forget the BB players who drop depth charges thinking they're the same as airstrikes.

@@NeptuniaMorgan This. Either it benefits me by seeing AA or I just like annoying the other guy and setting off his AA.
sometimes I do it just to piss them off

We were in the same game then...
That dude REALLY wants to sink that submarine, water be damned. Honorable.
Well, all after the great saying: "That Sign Can't Stop Me Because I Can't Read"
That player isn't human. No player is. Every World of Warships "gamer" aside from Flamu are not human.
i assume he is handicapped. (mentally) 19736 games. 42% winrate overall. PR !!!! -> 140

Wows players aren't real: Change my mind
@@ChadBatman I am a WoWS player. And I am human. I just don't have hands. That's why I play coop. xD xD xD
Well its kinda tragic, more than 50% of playerbase are -47%wr
Give thanks to that gk, she was spotting the sub ...

Something something “Animal Research”
You see, the second time he loaded HE… ngl I tried that the first time I saw one as well 😂
Now add 5 more players like that Gk and you have the asian server
Litterally
I like how the guy excuse so much hate for World of warship but he's driving in the ship that is 20,000 doubloons that is a free tech tree ship
cause all of those doubs are from recruiting station
To be fair, the repubs shells were about as effective as your depth charge bombers
i remember this clip 🙃

My AP appears to have shattered on the water... HE should work then...

Has Flamu just signed up to wows? He I acting like he is surprised. I thought he's been around for years. Why is he so confused?

Doing absolutely the same thing and expect a new result. Very WoWs player
Both drops did 1170 though, what was the 2000 about?
1170 + 1170 = 2xxx

come on, why are you insulting the animals in the zoo...they would probably play better than most WoWs players ;)
why was the GK secondaries not firing on him???
because the sub is at 60m depth, surface weapons do 0 damage
@@danh7411 oh I see now. Thanks

yeah also they are not even vulnerable to anti-sub weapons, sometimes even a full load of DD depth charged don't kill a sub...
It's depressing how many bbs tried to use their depth charges on my smoked up neptune in the past month, REPEATEDLY
i do this on braindead DDs that sit in their smoke but don't shoot so i can see where the AA comes from and blind fire them
They are see your AA tracers and can correct blindfire to you. Well they can, but i think they are just to dumb to realise that.
I do that for the AA indication asto where the smoked up player is but yeah I agree, more than half of the players are too dumb to understand depth charges is not Airstrike.
Thank you for leaving your Neptune's AA on. 😁
Guys it's just me smoke firing, it's not the AA
Eh, WG's games aren't exactly populated by the brightest minds around
why watch flamu when this is how he feels about us
Only way to send a message they will hear is to stop playing....
Imagine those people npcs having the right to vote. What a world we live in. :-)
First!
Cry more about subs, it's so entertaining :)
