I am looking to purchase a wide angle lens soon, I'm currently capped at 24mm (full-frame) and have always found that a little bit limiting. This video has confirmed that for me. Beautiful images and great explanation thought-out. That final images certainly lends itself well to monochrome and the composition was spot on in my opinion. Great job as ever, mate.
Thanks for another great video Steve. Re the black and white shot at the end of the video, I would have chosen to make it brighter in order to get the detail to stand out more I think.
Thanks for the comment. I produce the images for print and there is, sometimes, a bit of a shift when I put them on screen. What you might not be able to see on screen is the added grain, which helped the achieve the final look I was going for. I’ve yet to do a test print of this, but I will do before finalising the edit.
Hi, Loved the black and white photo at the end but couldn't help wishing I could see a color version as well. Was thinking a Fujifilm classic chrome image. Enjoyable video, Thanks
Thanks ever so much. That classic chrome can do wonders for an image, can’t it. Unfortunately, I probably won’t do a colour edit as it’s what I wanted to get from the image…. but, I have a few more and I may post another one at some point 😉
Great video with some lovely images, thank you for sharing 👍
My pleasure and thanks for leaving a comment. It’s most appreciated 😊
