After the BS6 updates the Bajaj Avenger 220 Cruise price is Rs 1,19,174 (ex-showroom Delhi). That is a price hike of Rs 14,086 over the BS4 Avenger 220 bike.The Bajaj Avenger 220 Cruise follows the same design language as the other members of the Avenger bike family. Since this is the Cruise model, it gets a large windshield, lots of chrome elements and spoke rims. Unlike its baby Avenger 160 sibling, the Avenger 220 Cruise gets a fully-digital instrument cluster which has info on it like an odometer, a tripmeter, clock, fuel gauge and service due reminder. The panel on the tank has a few telltale lights. While it does get LED DRLs, the headlight is still a bulb unit. The Bajaj Avenger 220 Cruise shares its motor with the legendary Pulsar 220F. Now equipped with a fuel-injection system, which is almost a necessary fitment to meet BS6 norms, the engine produces 19.03PS and 17.55Nm. The gearbox on the Avenger 220 Cruise remains the same old five-speed unit. The foundations of the Avenger 220 Cruise are simple and trusty. The suspension bits on the Avenger 220 are a conventional telescopic fork and twin shocks. Braking hardware has been upgraded on the BS6 Avenger 220 Cruise, Bajaj kitting the cruiser with a larger 280mm front rotor. The rear 130mm drum brake remains the same as before. Single-channel ABS comes as standard. You find spoke rims on this Avenger bike.The Bajaj Avenger 220 Cruise is an easy rider, capable of clocking miles on end, thanks to its comfy seat and relaxed ergonomics. There are no direct rivals to the Bajaj Avenger 220 Cruise but the Suzuki Intruder comes the closest. For the same price as the Avenger 220, you could also get yourself the Bajaj Pulsar 220F, TVS Apache RTR 200 4V or the Suzuki Gixxer SF.

A rear disk will make it awesome deal. Anyday, a far far far better choice than vibrating machines sold by RE. In fact, this is the most confy bike in Indian market.
One drawback brother no kick AMD carberuator so it need a push to start sometimes

One of the best looking cruiser in the budget. My only dream is to see cruise with pulsar switch gears, rear disc break and a tubeless tyres. Bajaj can add these features and increase the price by about 20k. Still it can be a good seller.

Brother ye bike me problems bhi bahut hoti hai..iske piche ke side lights jaldi hi tut jate hai..aur jab aap is bike ko morning me start kerte ho to jaldi start nahi hoti..70 ki speed ke uper bike ager apne 30 minute bhi chala diya to iska engine bahut garam ho jata hai..aur bhai iska silencer bhi bahut hit ho jata hai..ek aur problem hai isme. Jab bike slow keroge. Tab gair ki awaj bahut hoti hai..

Mileage would be around 40kmpl considering traffic conditions and I would say cruise for its looks but again if you think you need tubeless tyres then Street should be perfect.. however I would suggest you to take a test ride of both the Motorcycles once 😊🤘

But my commute is not huge so that had holded me back in buying in till now
so which would suit me better
Will surely do after lockdown I will try both models
If commute is short don't go for this bike because battery doesn't gets charged properly gives problems during starts.

I cruised from Delhi to vrindavan
Total 210 kgs weight .very comfortable, Minimum speed of 75 km per hour, got excellent mileage of 50 +. But this is a cruiser for single person, I would not recommend a pillion at back.

Thanks for the info.. I'd request you to please tell me that can i change the tyres of cruise with that of Street? As Street tyres are tubeless and on highways and long journeys they are very useful. Puncture in tube tyres on long journeys is a nightmare
