Old or new it's 21ps and 25ps . Don't try to balance like you said 25ps and 30ps . This will increase mileage but loose traction. After lots of R&D company has mentioned in the manual. So stick to the manual than any service center or fuel pump guys.

I have avenger 150 street. Nice video... tyre pressure required 30 front and 35 rear... summer u can go for less pressure. 55-65 Kmph will give u mileage 40-45 kmpl in city and moreover on highway. Synthetic oil give more power and better performance. Don’t go for check engine oils. Riding quality also effect the mileage. Thanks

Aur maine mere friend se bhi discuss kiya tha to ye jaan be ko mila ke company free service to deti hain par puri tarike se karte nahi aur original parts nikalne ka dar rehta hain aur kabhi kabaar to aesa bhi jaan ne mein aaya hain ke agar notice nahi ho to battery bhi badal lete hain. Sir. Your effort is good but the suggestions & informations are not correct TECHNICALLY. 1. Ideal speed is mentioned in service book & should be maintained. By reducing the flow of fuel supply you are not improving the milage instead you are over burdening the engine. There is a definite ratio of Fuel & Air mixing based on engine dezine, which delivers out put power. If you reduce the flow of fuel supply then to move the bike from rest to motion you need to pump more fuel & for longer duration (in seconds). Yes drive speed to be maintained as you said. Suggestion is to switch OFF the engine at signals. 2. Tyre pressure to be maintained as specified in manual only. The Tyre pressure is decided on many factor but not only on vehicle weight. For information standard H.V vehicle Tyre pressure is around 100 psi only. 3. Lubrication of chain may be done at every 500 K.M after proper cleaning. But if you are in muddy or Desert are then may clean & lube every 200 K.M. 4. Avarage Oil change period is at every 10000 - 15000 KM, or 6 - 8 months if not driven. Hence I suggest to read the user's manual of the vehicle and follow the instructions...Thanks
Hi Bro, I am using Avenger 220 Street in Bengaluru and since after Second Service I am using only Shell Regular Petrol recently after doing a servicing from a local mechanic mileage drop down from 32 to 22. After that I asked him to tune it to get good mileage however increased to 28-30 and also I drive to office and home both routes are traffic areas only. The mileage decreased from 32 to 27 is that because of traffic? I regularly drive at the speed of 60-65 KMPH. Please suggest

I am from Pune, there is guy, Shahrukh in Nana Peth who is expert in this. He changed the jet of my 220 carb to 150 Avvy and the mileage has superbly improved.. never less than 50 in any condition, just need to be little merciful to the bike, cant abuse it anymore, as I did earlier.

Since there is no kick start, I 'm afraid to add extra lights. Please suggest me the best way. Also, if I add projector lamps or any other LED lights, will it highly affect the battery performance?

u can add LED's and don't need to worry about current drawn by them, I have installed total 4 auxiliary Lamps and done Delhi to Pune, never faced a single problems drove through the night.

Hello sir, I am unable to get my Avengee 220 cruise bike gear to neutral while halt at signal or any place. I have to stop my bike in 1st gear everytime. So I am afraid that my clutch will get affected if I keep it pressed on signal halt until it turns green. What can be the issue? Please someone help. Yeah man. You are right. But the problem with nitrogen is that, you have to be careful as if not done properly, it sometimes leads to tyre deformity. Read about it somewhere. And thanks for the kudos man. Means a lot.
Saurav Sharma its debatable .. because F1 cars use nitrogen in tyres .. because nitrogen in very high heat of the race track expands only 10psi while normal air expands upto 35-40 psi

I do it too.. i do not need to fill my tyres for months.. by months i mean my maximum has been 2 mnths and no change in tyre pressure... next mnth i went i lost 1psi.... Search for fifth gear who tested the theory of this.... The theory says that normal air has oxygen and water vapour.. and u know what they do to ferrous objects..and tubeless tyres r alloys of metals...

Just why did you have to do this on a busy road...seriously, lubing your bike with no care in the world while vehicles zip past you lol. Also by increasing the tyre pressure there is serious loss in traction especially when you have to do emergency braking. I've learned this the hard way, I beg everyone not to do it. Avenger's centre of gravity is towards its rear, a sudden brake while most likely swerve the front wheel sideways due to its cruiser stance.
Agreed, agreed & agreed. The chain-lubing on the side of the road is pretty mundane for me as I've done this a hundred times during my trips. Also, if you notice, that lane on the road is dedicated to trucks parking & stuff. Watch closely how I park after I cross the parked vehicle, ensuring my safety. And I am not saying to increase the tyre pressure, I am saying balance it out, brother. Why do you think I said 'increase the tyre pressure'?
Agar lamba highway stretch ho, 60 ki speed ho aur aap ghanton se aise hi chalein. Tab shayad. But realistically, expect karo 42 tak. Usse upar expect mat karo.
SamRollins TheWanderer No thats not the issue, the battery on avenger is better. 9ah on avenger vs 8 ah on bullet. But the problem is that i don't want to mess with it for now. Maybe soon. I will in future for sure.
Maybe wiring issue or Fuse issue, check the fuse box and see if any fuse is gone bad. There are 2 spare fuses inside. You can use them. Also, try starting the bike by pushing the bike in 2nd gear and letting go of clutch.
BANAJIT MAHANTA I previously had Gixxer sf. Its a good bike. But I bought avenger coz of the comfort. Gixxer cant do long rides, (it can as far as capacity goes) but cannot in terms of comfort. You should also keep in mind that these are two completely different bikes. Engine wise Suzuki is a bit more refined. But avenger is not bad either. Refinement has improved. And last thing is that please take a test ride. And drive for atleast 10 kms, before deciding. Maybe the dealer wont let you take a test tide that long, in that case try to contact any owners who come for servicing etc. The dealership can arrange that.

Bro Its only effects on EFI engines. Cause Efi bikes have some Sensors on their Exhaust pipe that it can collect data and reprogramme fuel flow. But in carburated bikes It doesnt have any sensors so Dont affect your mileage...

On a 4 stroke engine with a carb set, exhaust is the last stage in which the exhaust gases burn and the outflow happens. The amount of air taken by the air filter, the fuel provided by the carb mix up and produce spark for the pistons to move. When you change your exhaust, the input mixture remains the same (Rich or Normal), but the exhaust process changes, resulting in more residue to burn and accumulation of residue, which directly impacts the engine. Hence, directly impacting the mileage.

Check for electrolyte level at every service.. shake the bike and the liquid inside the battery will shake.. check if its below the mark on the battery. (To be honest I dont have any experience with the battery on this bike so cant say for sure, this answer is based on previous bikes I have used)

Thats bad man. What did the Bajaj Workshop say? Did they suggest you to change the clutch plate? Since you have already done everything, I dont know what might be the issue. Try these steps as well: 1. Get them to clean the Carburetor (By opening it, not just draining it). 2. Flush your engine oil and use a good engine oil (try Motul 3100 for starters).

air filter saaf karao. fuel knob bhi check karao. ho sake toh baar baar jao. pareshan kar do par galat baat par jhukna nahi. ek baar check kar lena ki air filter me hava jane ke raste me koi problem toh nahi hai. it needs air flow and fuel flow to be healthy.
I have avenger 150 street but jab mai mera bike 55-60 ke speed che chalata hu tab ekdam smoothly chalta hai but agar mai 70 to 80 ke speed cha jau tab mera bike thoda fas jata hai jaise jab bike on road reserve mode par lete huye hota hai jaisa please koyi solution batao.

I do it too.. i do not need to fill my tyres for months.. by months i mean my maximum has been 2 mnths and no change in tyre pressure... next mnth i went i lost 1psi.... Search for fifth gear who tested the theory of this.... The theory says that normal air has oxygen and water vapour.. and u know what they do to ferrous objects..and tubeless tyres r alloys of metals...

Just why did you have to do this on a busy road...seriously, lubing your bike with no care in the world while vehicles zip past you lol. Also by increasing the tyre pressure there is serious loss in traction especially when you have to do emergency braking. I've learned this the hard way, I beg everyone not to do it. Avenger's centre of gravity is towards its rear, a sudden brake while most likely swerve the front wheel sideways due to its cruiser stance.

The chain-lubing on the side of the road is pretty mundane for me as I've done this a hundred times during my trips. Also, if you notice, that lane on the road is dedicated to trucks parking & stuff. Watch closely how I park after I cross the parked vehicle, ensuring my safety.
And I am not saying to increase the tyre pressure, I am saying balance it out, brother. Why do you think I said 'increase the tyre pressure'?
My Avenger 220 Cruise provides 32-34 Km average in legend Bangalore Traffic. Can it provide best than this or it is fine.

My avenger street 220 didn't start and odometer light didn't working. The problem of not starting is it because of odometer problem?
I dont think so.
Maybe wiring issue or Fuse issue, check the fuse box and see if any fuse is gone bad. There are 2 spare fuses inside. You can use them. Also, try starting the bike by pushing the bike in 2nd gear and letting go of clutch.

BANAJIT MAHANTA I previously had Gixxer sf. Its a good bike. But I bought avenger coz of the comfort. Gixxer cant do long rides, (it can as far as capacity goes) but cannot in terms of comfort.
You should also keep in mind that these are two completely different bikes.
Engine wise Suzuki is a bit more refined. But avenger is not bad either. Refinement has improved.
And last thing is that please take a test ride. And drive for atleast 10 kms, before deciding. Maybe the dealer wont let you take a test tide that long, in that case try to contact any owners who come for servicing etc. The dealership can arrange that.

Bro Its only effects on EFI engines.
Cause Efi bikes have some Sensors on their Exhaust pipe that it can collect data and reprogramme fuel flow.
But in carburated bikes It doesnt have any sensors so Dont affect your mileage...

On a 4 stroke engine with a carb set, exhaust is the last stage in which the exhaust gases burn and the outflow happens. The amount of air taken by the air filter, the fuel provided by the carb mix up and produce spark for the pistons to move. When you change your exhaust, the input mixture remains the same (Rich or Normal), but the exhaust process changes, resulting in more residue to burn and accumulation of residue, which directly impacts the engine. Hence, directly impacting the mileage.

Hi how to handle battery.
Check for electrolyte level at every service.. shake the bike and the liquid inside the battery will shake.. check if its below the mark on the battery. (To be honest I dont have any experience with the battery on this bike so cant say for sure, this answer is based on previous bikes I have used)

Since you have already done everything, I dont know what might be the issue.
Try these steps as well:
1. Get them to clean the Carburetor (By opening it, not just draining it).
2. Flush your engine oil and use a good engine oil (try Motul 3100 for starters).
