- The TVS Ronin TD is available in a new triple-tone Nimbus Grey colour option, along with a new graphic. The paint scheme uses grey as the primary tone, white colour as the secondary tone, and a red stripe as the third tone.
The motorcycle also comes with TVS Ronin branding on the rims, along with blacked-out lower parts of the bike. The headlamp bezel gets the blacked-out treatment as well. Moreover, the Ronin TD also comes fitted with accessories like a USB charger, visor, and an FI cover. Mechanically, the special edition Ronin TD remains unchanged. The 225.9cc, air/oil-cooled motor produces 20.1bhp at 7,750rpm and a peak torque of 19.93Nm. The engine is paired with a five-speed gearbox.

It's a shame people reject this and go for hunter which is just poor derivative for j-series engine. TVS has brought BMW collab TO Indian market but still people fall for cheap tactics by RE.

BMW ke Collab krne se tatti sona nahi ho jaata. RE is a time trusted brand for bikers. And have you even rode hunter. I personally didn't find any issues with your so called poor derivative j series engine. Infact the experience is quite opposite. Not to forget the after sales service of RE is much better and accessible than Ronins' as it is available only at selected centres.

I just took test drive today...and i can clearly say hunter looks baby in front of 6 ft guy...mine is 6.2. I was not sure about the comfort before riding but after driving its all about you get complete satisfaction...you get to feel it

Good allround review. I think there are issues in my point of view as an owner:
1. Poor headlight
2. Not the best mirrors for reat viability
Engine is amazing, great engineering too. Perfect city bike, but yes quite a few times we get to hear some chain noise but not showstopper. Amazing suspension for broken roads. Turning radius is slightly higher and one can get used to that in just some time with bike.
It also provides good mileage in city - 40/42 in traffic with pillion. So overall a great bike if one likes the looks of it.
What about vibration/buzzing at highway speeds (100-110 kmph) ?
@@reetabratabhattacharya4748 I have reached 105 with pillion rider and it feels sturdy. Slight buzz comes around 70 mark and vanishes again by 72-75...it doesn't feel like vibrations actually.

Though Ronin has lesser torque & lightweight , it looks better than those Rajdoot look alikes. Tvs is smart & knows how to compete with Honda. Honda 350 rs & Ronin are one of the most beautiful designs i have ever seen. It looks like one of those European premium bikes used in Hollywood action movie stunts.

My friend wanted to buy this bike because he liked it very much. But, he has a problem with his left foot. He cannot raise up his left toes because of some nerves problem.
Is it possible to customize the gear lever so that he can change into a higher gear by pushing it down with his left heal instead of pulling it up with his toes? If that is settled, he will purchase the bike. Thank you.

I purchased this vechile today ran 15km facing heat issues any advise or suggestions
After 300km it will reduce. Initially some amount of heat everybody facing.
in next service use 10w50 motul, heating issue will vanish immediately
after 1st servicing everything will be fine

Did anyone notice that the instrument console is exactly same as Keeway Benda and its chinese brother QJ motor bikes...
The instrument portion loox deficient/incomplete with misaligned console just to copy Hunter, but hunter comes with another console for navigation to make the f4ont console part complete but Ronin doesnt. Hope some additional console accesory comes to install there
But,
I just like most of this bike..the design is awsome, the fit/finish, the parts delicately designed, lots of cladding/covers(even the beautifully designed saree guard) for most parts from exhaust pipes to bottom plate.
Also i wish this is offered in some premium outlet and not with jupiters and raiders
Do some research before blind commenting. Offset consoles were popularised by ducati, triumph and the like. In no way or shape the keeway consoles are similar to Ronins.
Ronin launched in July last year, hunter in August, question of copying is moot.
Ronin in the top variants have an in-built turn by turn navigation in the console itself so other 'accessories are not needed.
Also, ronin is sold in premium tvs dealerships, along with the 310s
@@Motors2Motherboards The instrument console does loox carbon copy similar to keeway BendaV302C/QJMotors and No am not looking for validation of my observation from anyone and seriously your perspective doesn't matter 2 me at all in this regard. The crux of my point regarding the misaligned console placement doesnt end if a navigation is offered in the existing console in top variant. The point being, its offset, misaligned, loox wierd AF to me and any other information display system could've been added next to it to fill up the console something similar to Hunter.
Regarding sale in dealerships, I've seen Ronins parked with raiders and jupiters in outlets and that's why my initial suggestion.

DON'T GO FOR THIS BIKE as I bought it just three months back riding experience really good but the service and spare/electronic parts are worse within three months i faced multiple issues first it started with horn then clutch it keeps going on but recently while i out for the shop for my 3 year son who suffer from fever i couldn't start the bike towed the bike 2 kms then I called the customer support no use then i called the showroom where i bought the bike then arrange the near by service centre now it's been almost 1 month bike not repaired while I spoke to the service centre stating they are waiting for the ISG board as it got faulted and carelessly stated it may take two or three weeks of time to recieve due to stock unavailable... WORST SERVICE EVER BY TVS... DONT GET FOOLED BY THIS KIND OF ADS...THEN U WILL WORRY

@@feralfelix8926 mine is same height...first i was about to book hornet blindly considering Honda brand...but thank god i toot test drive of hornet...it was really smooth but i was very uncomfortable while shifting gear due to long legs...so unlucky me had to drop hornet. And also dropped idea to tvs Ronin beacuse it looks like toy when 6'2 person sits or stand besides it.....Then took ride of apache rtr 200V which was parked besides Ronin....it was out of syllabus for me... because never considered Apache in my list...but i was too surprised it was so comfortable for me...easy gear shifting and exhaust made me fall me in love with apache. Soon will book apache. If your height is same as mine...you can go with it

My bike gives between 40-45
I have bought this motorcycle. The rear brake foot lever should have been slightly outside. It's too much inside as compared to the width of the tank.
Also, the access to the monoshock absorber should have been easier. I do not understand why the adjuster grooves have been kept at the top.

TVS Service centers are easy to locate but hard to get good service. Bound to go for the vehicle service with TVS, just for the sake of warranty.
Dealership and workshop are not even aware of the issues, so how can we expect resolution.

If only this bike was little longer , taller and bigger it would be perfect. From some angles it looks like a bigger Honda Monkey bike . For tall riders its too compact .
ONLY PROBLEM WITH RONIN IS .
REAR SEAT IS SO SO SHORT I MEAN what tvs was even thinking. Longer seat isn't going to create issue. it's gonna make more sense as for touring bike. TVS SUCKS AT LISTINGS TO PEOPLE & DESIGING PRATICAL BIKES SOMETIMES. & NO YT CHANNEL HEILIGHTS IT.
