"Bist du bei mir" (English: "If you are with me") (BWV 508) is an aria from the Notebook for Anna Magdalena Bach. It was attributed to Johann Sebastian Bach, but the melody is actually by Gottfried Heinrich Stölzel and Bach later harmonized it. I made this arrangement this morning, after having sketches of it in many different keys in my drawers for several years. At last I found a good key (G-Major) and finished it and felt like recording it immediately. :-)

I am a very beginner of classical guitar, but I can't stop listenning to Your music. It's so pure. I feel so relaxed listenning to Your guitar. The religious character of that piece makes me think the Lord has so created the world that music is a kind of mystery and musicans are doing a great job. They show other people that music means -The God created beauty and wants the beauty of human beings.
Heaven is in Your guitar and heaven stops when You plays .

Once I heard it done by a handbell choir and had tears streaming down my cheeks, it was so lovely. This guitar rendition comes as close to that as any I've heard - absolutely lovely!

Lovely performance. Beautiful piece. I've heard and played a number of Bach compositions. Don't know how I missed this one. The different sections are clearly delineated and sensitive and elegantly played.
