- Israeli tanks advanced into central Rafah for the first time on Tuesday.
This as at least 45 Palestinians are dead and 2 Hamas leaders also killed in an Israeli airstrike. Israel's prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu calling the strike a 'mishap.'
According to Reuters in a speech to the Israeli parliament on Monday, Netanyahu said, "In Rafah, we already evacuated about one million non-combatants residents and despite our upmost effort not to harm non-combatants, something unfortunately went tragically wrong. We are investigating the incident and will reach conclusions because this is our policy."

If the secondary explosion was caused by terrorists placing explosives near civilians where they hide, is it a tragic mistake or a sinister sacrifice of civilians by terrorists? Did Netanyahu have the information when he described it as a tragic mistake? It’s not a mistake when terrorists hide amongst and store explosives amongst civilians. It’s part of the appeal to the international “community” to oppose the existence of Israel. It has worked and the public adds support to the destruction of Israel with such cruel, deliberate sacrifices of civilians. A foolish public doesn’t recognize the extremist jihad motivations behind the psychotic behavior.
Luckily most of the buildings, infrastructure, and other such important aspects of waging war have been bombed into dust over the last couple of decades, so now Israel can blame every civilian death on the millitant group known as Hamas unless they stand out in the open and wave their arms around. So sad that its also Hamas's fault that Israel cannot negotiate peace for the Palestinians' sake.
