I initially bought the Dragondress DX and Kraken DX at first due to horny. Ended up impressed with the kit quality. Never even bothered to use the R-18 DX parts since the full armored mode looks so cool.
Well it didn't help that both of the promotional stuff for the DX Dark Advent stuff actually shows Futa poses (well 3 now with Undeaddress finally shown) =P

"Hide yo kids" as the opener probably makes this my favorite episode of yours so far haha. That said, I love DA kits. They've been pretty creative so far and just look... well, great. The DX accessories are always good for a laugh too. They're just so absurd. Can't wait for Undeadress to come out. Egyptian demongirl with coffin-robot-ghost? Sign me up.
Unfortunately the Coffin Ghost only comes with the DX this time around. Good in that it made the base Iris kit cheaper but that means you really need the DX if you want a "full" set
@@RocKM001 Aye. Always get the DX set for these anyways, but I did kind of find them splitting the Coffin Ghost like that odd. It seems like somewhat of an integral "accessory", so that kind of stuck out to me. Separating the lovely lewd accessories makes sense, but the ghost seems more like a thing they sell separately on its own since I'm sure quite a few people want the ghost but not the lewd stuff. Though, I guess anybody sticking with the Dark Advent line at this point have probably just accepted the lewd hilarity of the DX sets and don't mind getting those extra bits for access to the ghost.

Like Iris looks great as a model but without the Tomb Mummy you miss out on the armor/equipment shenanigans and Isis kinda just looks like a run of the mill egyptian themed musume plamodel or Figma. Then again since Alphamax tends to resell the "DX Parts" seperately later I assume their sorta marketing it as 2 seperate models this time around.

Really like the character design and the overall color scheme, looks pretty spot on. But the OOB build does looks a bit lacking in detail, and I'm not a fan of the pearl white parts. Might pick the regular ver sometimes, the DX ver is too much for me and I can't even display it on my shelf XD

In case no one knows about this, there's going to be a re-release of Dragondress DX. Though it's not just a straight up re-release. It's a 1.5 version. The difference between 1.0 and 1.5? 1.5 will have new additional interchangeable faces. Also a 3rd kit from this line is coming out soon; Undeaddress. An Egyptian themed kit. This one is a bit interesting because the character has posable badonkers, and a second figure that acts like a Stand for the character.
It's a 1.1 not 1.5 =P But yeah Sophia 1.1 will be coming out Nov this year... so if you missed out on the initial release then its definitely a must buy!
Idk why but her face looks vaguely familiar with Xenoblade 2 character designs. Also there was a doujin of this for those curious and know where to look: "cursed holy clothes".

After I got mine put together some of the joints broke on the kraken armor and the arm of the base. So now it's in a singular pose and I'm afraid to touch it. Looks nice and I wish I panel lined it though.
how have the wrist joints held up over time and use? I've been afraid to put the hands on my kit as I've had several kits break at the wrists and I wasn't sure how to feel about the plastic type. Are your wrist joints still good?
I believe the actual led units were supposed to be first run exclusive but I could be wrong about that. Also the atk girl bases had hexagons in the arms so if you tried to rotate them it cracked the joint and made them flimsy

Idk where you pre-ordered this but I pre-ordered this back in July 2020 from USA Gundam Store and every time I've asked why it hasn't shipped I get told the same thing about how they're waiting on their distributor. This is beyond annoying. I've ordered things from Japan during the height of covid that didn't take this long which is what I should have done with this. Now I'm not even sure I'll get it because this was my first order from them and I no longer trust them. 🙃

I heard that some of the plastic type(maybe the pearl finish one?) on kraken dress having some issue for being brittle. I'm planning on buying the undeaddress but not quite sure about this rumor yet.

Dark Advent kits tend to be very hard to get after release since a lot of folks snatch up the preorders and shops have limited stocks on release. Even more so for the initial "DX" release on launch. Alphamax usually have more of the "Normal" release in stock and then resell the "DX Parts" later for folks who just want the base fig. But those sell out in a few months as well
Is not an octupus or squid, is a kraken, and the 3rd kit coming the DX have much more things than the standard but at least the stardard is very cheap compare with the first 2 kits.

Yeah I get the genshin look from the face while the dragon dress has a softer look on the face. But from bought of them could be genshin characters design wise. I'm also excited for the next girl sadly the robot coffin mech thing is only with the DX set so I guess I'll have to get my first DX set for that because the mech parts are the cool parts for them.
Did the Genshin RNG Gods refuse to bless you and unintentionally get cursed building this kit.. jk RNG really sucks in most Gacha Games.. guess just suck it up and continue grinding on!

As a person who bought this, I would say that this model kit is way better than I expected.
I need to get these kits so I can have a 1 on 1 on 1 battle of "monster" girls vs. the 4 holy beasts vs. "insect" girls.

Right. And the problem is they’re too tight to try to take apart and reposition so either way the ATK base is a pain 🤦♂️

I shaved a bit off the hexagon points with a hobby knife and they worked great.
