A movie is being made, by the writer of the books too. The original movie deal fell through so he's doing it himself. Not sure if it's actually "being made" yet though or just in the works.
@@VivitoArtist Yea I don't think filming has started. Just preparation which is probably going slower since he doesn't have an actual studio backing him.

Prime! This is fit for a Red and a Gold . I read the entire series. This was amazing. I hope there's a movie soon. If so, You should be the one for the visual effects ! I love how you Incorporated all of the planets throughout the entire series. The Iron Rain tho.. I could imagine Darrow up there in a starshell.. I honestly love this series more than Star wars. It's way more realistic and hits closer to home. Gorydamn good job! Pierce Brown, Thank you for your amazing books!
I truly appreciate your Prime efforts to visualize the worlds of Red Rising. Your depiction of an Iron Rain was outstanding. I could almost imagine the fear that seeing that would inspire among anyone on the receiving end of the pending violence that sight would have foretold. Bloodydamn Awesome work.
probably Hahaha. Many fans think it would best to have an anime adaptation (or just animated in general). I agree it would be amazing but I think they're underestimating the capabilities of a live action adaptation. It's more suitable IMO. If it hits most of the right spots it would be fantastic!
Dude this is incredible. Thanks for this. It gives me some visualization when reading the books. Haven’t finished what is released of the series yet so this came at a good time for me.
Great work. I have never seen a vision where our own Solarsystem becomes the amazing Space destination. Makes it feel so realistic, not far away in the future when we might have the propulsion to reach exoplanets...
Thank you! There will definitely be more in the near future. Right now I'm trying to branch out. I won't just be doing Red Rising or space content (doesn't mean I'll stop), I want to explore other fictional worlds and universes then try to bring them to life. And I'm working on a short space documentary which will hopefully be released in 2023.
This is breathtaking... I just finished the 3 book series, and the visuals here were much as I imagined them as well. I would love to see some of the massive star ships one day!!!
@VivitoArtist I really enjoyed the Luna scene. I always have trouble grasping how it should look, and now I'll probably use this representation in place of my own.
@@Mordant.Melodys unfortunately the nature of my content takes a long time to produce. With real life responsibilities it becomes challenging but I’m working on other space content (not Red Rising). I’ll revisit Red Rising when the final book is released though!
Mars. Oh cool I wonder how mt Olympis looks like or agiea maybe the ice peaks of the poles. Cuts straight to a space rock. Ohh okay no Mars then I guess lol.
This took about a month to make. I start by doing some research on these locations and coming up with visual concepts. After that, I spend a lot of time building out scenes, redoing them and improving on them. Then comes the rendering stage which takes a long time depending on what I'm doing. Finally, we enter the post-production stage which is where the magic happens by taking rough looking scenes and transforming them into beautiful ones. Also, thanks a lot I really appreciate your support guys :)
This isn’t “roman enough” for me especially Luna, they adopted an idealized Roman Empire esthetic. I really do wonder how any screen play will tackles space and historical architecture. It can’t be 1 to 1 Roman, but it should be identifiably modernized. I suppose “neoclassical futurism” I understand this is a mock up and fan made. It’s great work. @@TheManlol12 Thanks for sharing your opinion. I do agree it’s not Roman enough. I plan to make a more book accurate video in the future maybe after red god is out or before.
@@VivitoArtist sounds great I’ll keep an eye out for it. After this post I googled “Neoclassical Futurism” apparently some designer coined the term and has used AI to do mock ups of the aesthetic. @@VivitoArtist you are correct but I found second book to be slow paced with unnecessary plot twists. Everyone was switching their alliances every few pages and it was hard to keep up. @@VivitoArtist It’s all personal preference Red rising is incredible, do not get me wrong. But based on my own preferences sun eater just hits the spot for me. Deeper and more thought provoking prose, grander world and more intricate building and more hard science is taken into consideration (time dilation to make you really feel the grand scope of space and space travel) . The entire linguistic aspect of the aliens is just done masterfully. And personally I just enjoy how the first person narrative is done a little bit more since it’s a chronicle and not first person present (Pierce brown is like the only person that has done first person present extremely well done for me though) Overall Sun eater is just my cup of tea when it comes to sci-fi, but to be honest comparing the two is dumb since in the end the only real comparisons that can be made are Sci fi ✅ Author Love for the Roman Empire ✅ And that’s about it.
