The 3 week countdown has begun til Christmas break... hehe
Off Topic but just remembered the past due to game comment made by viewer comment on gaming.
In the 80's arcade game times, did you know you get free credits on games if you used a static g un on the rivet closest to the player(s) button?
I used an older version of a "Milty 5036694022153 Zerostat 3 Anti-Static G un", I was a bad boy for awhile doing it saving my quarters to buy Doctor Pepper and Nacho Cheese Doritos, I was addicted to them, lol. I got caught a couple times, they only would make me take off my coat and turn into the front desk to get in. Just reminiscing. Anyone else do that or even know you could? Anyways, I'm done rambling, just missing the 80s
Never knew that... How did you learn to do that?
Miss those times... and not just the games... Used to ride my bike with friends alongside a busy street that today I wouldn't consider doing. Had to buy hint books to complete games you got stuck on because there was no internet.
@@TheOFamily1981 When I was 15 i used to babysit for one of my dads friends (in the army on base) he was BIG into music and had all the stuff, 8track, record player, reel to reel, real expensive stuff. He trusted me to play music when I sat for them, he was showing me how use the static g un and said, "I hear you play games, did you know when I was in basic training I used to use this for free games while I was on leave" He told me how he did it. Even though he told me not to do it I said ok, thinking ya right.... So i saved up my lunch money and got one at the PX for 8 bucks.
Cool guy he was. (Two squeezes on the trigger and I had 99 credits/games to play. I only got caught months later because I played 1 game so much in one day a kid complained and the guy come around and saw like 80 credits left, with no quarters in the machine, lol. That's still one thing I don't feel sorry about, LOL
Definitely an interesting trick to have learned. What other uses did the static gun have?
After science class, I always wanted tesla coil. Parents were too afraid I would shock my sister, or anyone else that tried to come into my room... had to settle for taking things apart and experimenting with the parts. Had things wired all over my room.
@@TheOFamily1981 Not aware of any other uses, besides the game thing it sure made a diff playing his records, thing really works. LOL, I'd prob agree with parents, I sure would've used on my sister, not to hurt but for sure scare her. I used to play with the light generator from my bike. After seeing my Mech teacher toss a charged capacitor out of a distributor cap to one of the guys I kinda stayed away from Elect after that, his lesson besides how they work is don't catch things you know nothing of. lol Good ol crazy days of childhood, don't regret any of them, if anything they made me smarter :)
I kept my projects to DC to minimize the risk of shock...
That's a great lesson... shame they can't be taught that way now-a-days. My uncle did similar things... always fun to be the smarter of the bunch...
Sadie passed away
Double dare dog staying 24 hours rule game No break No bathroom
That would be easy, just stock up the snacks, including a 6 pack of sodas in plastic bottles and bingo, got everything needed. Most important, don't forget the bottled drinks. If ya know what i mean :)
HAHA!!! Bottle drinks very important for challenges like this...
@@TheOFamily1981 So true, one could loose so easy by not stating all the rules, LOL
Even if stated... that would require me to stay up 24 hours as well to enforce them...
@@TheOFamily1981 Na, don't forget your new tech, just put a camera on them and record while you nap. Bingo :)
When did your dog passed away

How old are they?
Depends, it keeps changing.
Some would say Nunya and I'd have to agree. But I'm sure they're old enough to know better.
How right you are... hehe
