It is noteworthy that computational points marked in red when more than 8 faces are present in the current case in HEC-RAS are no longer present in RAS 2025. This issue has been a significant challenge despite the presence of an option in HEC-RAS to modify the meshes.
You know in RAS Mapper you can right click the "perimeter" layer and select "try to fix all meshes" ....red cell errors in my opinion are by far the smallest problem that RAS had and does not increase model build times by more than 10 mins or so
To prepare for adding 2D connections later in RAS 6.6 from RAS225, if I understand correctly, I should import a shapefile of all structure (culverts, bridges, etc) locations to RAS2025 so it knows where to enforce cell faces. Is it correct? Thanks!
This is amazing. Thanks Stanford and the RAS team!
